Janice,
If you laugh, I'll find out where you live....

I can't swallow pills so I take gummy vitamins...
I told you not to laugh. And stop rolling your eyes. It works for me. One in the morning and a second when I come home from work because it gives me energy to get through the evening and I sleep better.

Also, a very pricey high-quality salmon oil capsule. No other supplements yet. At 58, I know myself pretty well. If I overwhelm myself with new things I have to take and do, I won't do any of it. I'm a very undisciplined person, always have been. If I don't start slow and gradually, I won't form habits, and habits are going to be necessary for the long haul with this.

Ok, I did giggle a little bit!! It is actualy very cute.
I have the same problem as you with pills and self dicipline.
I take supplements made from food and they are in vegatarian
capsules. They are so much easier to swallow and don't mess up the gut. You do have to keep them in the fridge once they are open.
Just start with a better multi-vitamin and add others slowly.
Do you have a doctor?

But I LIKE my gummies. I look forward to taking a gummy in the morning.
It's like a dog treat for people. Whoever looked forward to taking herbs in a capsule? It's the trade-off for no chocolate.

I do see your point. Really. And I'll get there. I've got the garlic caps, just have not been able to actually get them to my mouth.

I'm as bad about going to doctors as I am about pills. After my initial experience with a doctor when this first started, and everything I hear from
all of you guys, I've been very hesitant to expose myself to that. But I have great insurance; my employer very generously pays the entire premium. It doesn't cover alternative medicine practioners, per se, but the Plan offers discounted rates to practitioners on their list. I prefer DO's but have no idea how to go about finding one who'll be "Morg-friendly" other than by picking up the phone and asking directly. Got any suggestions for that?

And Janice? Thanks for your concern.

First thing, I don't ever talk to my doctor about morgellons, we talk about my immune system. His philosophy is treat the patient not the disease. These docs are different.
I have good insurance as well. The only thing they don't pay for are my vita-c IVs and my glutathione. All lab test and half of the docs bill is covered.

The best way I can come up with to find the right doctor is to get a referal from Genova labs. I would have to think any body that uses their lab is a progressive thinker. I will post that in just a minute. Be right back.

Default Remedies for itchy scalp

Home Remedies For Itchy Scalp
Remedy 1: Here is one of the best dry itchy scalp home remedy. Take a small bowl of warm water and add in three tablespoons of apple cider vinegar. After shampooing your hair, put this preparation on your scalp and hair, and massage your scalp. Leave it to stay on for about
ten minutes, and then rinse it off. You can also leave it as such without rinsing but the odour of vinegar will stay on for a while.

Remedy 2: Two oils that can cure itchy scalp are peppermint oil and tea tree oil. Take either peppermint oil or tea tree oil and pour few drops of it into a small bowl of warm water. Put this preparation on your scalp after you have shampooed it. This will cure itchy feeling of the
scalp.

Remedy 3: Oatmeal is another excellent ingredient in relieving itchy scalp. Soak about one fourth of a cup of oatmeal in water for approximately twenty minutes. Mix it well with hand and filter it using a tea filter. Collect the liquid that passes the filter in a small bowl and put
five drops of lavender oil and five drops of rosemary to this. Now mix them well and pour on your scalp. Leave it to stay there for about ten minutes, and then rinse off with water. This is will relieve itchy scalp.

Remedy 4: Take a teaspoon of tea tree oil, a teaspoon of neem oil, a teaspoon of lavender oil, and a teaspoon of rosemary oil. Put these oils in three table spoons of a base oil like olive oil or almond oil and mix well. This preparation can work against fungal infections and remove
scalp itch effectively. Pour this mixture on your scalp and gently massage. This is done on a daily basis, can remove itchiness from your scalp quiet effectively.

Remedy 5: If you have dandruff it may be the reason for the itchy scalp. Here is a great remedy to get rid of it at your home. Fenugreek is an age old kitchen stuff used in the home treatment of dandruff. Soak two tablespoons of fenugreek seeds overnight in water. In the
morning, blend them into a smooth paste. Put this paste on your scalp and massage gently using your fingertips. Let it stay on your scalp for an hour. After an hour wash your hair with reetha.

Remedy 6: Take two tablespoons of freshly squeezed lime juice and dilute it in water to fill a glass. This liquid should be used to give your hair the last rinse after shampooing it. Due to its acidic nature it works against dandruff. Besides removing dandruff and scalp itchiness also
conditions your hair and imparts a glow to it.

Remedy 7: An antifungal medication used for ringworm treatment is Ketoconazole. This medicine is available in two forms -in foam based solution form and in gel form. So while purchasing your shampoo, look for a preparation that contains ketoconazole. This ingredient
is excellent in decreasing fungal growth effectively. It also works to cure scalp conditions such as scaling, itching and flaking which arise because of the presence of dandruff. Use this shampoo to wash your hair for at least two times in a week. So ketaconazole is a three in one
treatment that cures dandruff, itchy scalp and ringworm.
Chemical Remedies
Here are some chemical remedies for itchy scalp.

1 . If you have dry scalp that causes scalp itchiness, then use a hair lotion that contains 5 to 10% urea. This will ensure that your scalp will stay moist.

2 . Apply anti dandruff shampoo or anti yeast medication to cleanse your hair.

3 . If your scalp has Seborrheic dermatitis, apply mild steroid anti fungal medications and tar shampoos.

4 . If clinical diagnosis finds that you have scalp psoriasis, remove those thick scales and then apply a mixture of betamethasone dipropionate and calcipotriene.

5 . If you have contact dermatitis, keep away contact allergy. Mild to moderate contact dermatitis can be avoided if you apply antihistamine medications and steroid creams. If you have severe contact dermatitis, take steroids orally.

6 . If you have lice on your scalp which results in itchy scalp use anti louse medicines and shampoos once in a week.

7 . If you have ring worm infestation, antifungal medicines can be taken either applying locally or by consuming it orally. Use a shampoo that contains zinc pyrithione, ketoconazole, or selenium sulphide to wash your hair on alternate days. Do this for a duration of three months so that the infection does not reoccur.

8 . If you have Pityriasis Amiantacea, treat the foundation of it such as lichen simplex, seborrheic dermatitis, or psoriasis. This will give you relief from Pityriasis Amiantacea.

9 . If your scalp is infected by Lichen Planus, treat it with intralesional steroids or with exterior application of super potent steroids. Early reatment can only prevent the scarring of your scalp.

I had to do a little cut and paste. Janice

What is reetha?

And a caution: people with high blood pressure should be careful with peppermint; even applied topically or inhaled, it can raise blood pressure.

Sure smells good, though. Better than NEEM oil (ychhh...)

Janice Thanks for caring!
i do have a reg practioner and a rheumatoligist.my diagnosis has been chronic celluitis alot in my eyes and face. i was hospitalized for a week due to being extremely infected in the danger zone in my face they treated me with intravenous vancomyacin during my stay and then ten days at the outpatient wth four hour intervals a day wth the vanco. heres the thing it never fully cleared and within that month i went totally blind it lasted for a week.very scary. i've been seeing the same dr for many years he listens to me when i ramble about the morgellons i've tried to explain it to him.and though i feel he believes me i think he doesn't know what to do. i'm alot better now but i have no get up and go!
Then i was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and degenerative arthritis in my neck.
i believe its all one tied together.i've always wanted to take an anti-parasitic and still do! i feel like i would be beating a dead horse seeing how my whole family has this and if it wasn't done in a group effort it would be a waste of money and time.don't ya think?
Thank You Janice

Wow, you have allot going on!
When I go to the doc for my vit-c IVs there is a woman that comes in with fibromyalga that gets a glutathione IV. She was sent there by a a "regular" doc. She said the IV makes her feel so much better.

I would realy be careful taking anti-parasites in your case.

Have you ever thought (taking a list of your meds with) of going to a holistic doc? I have found it to be a very enlightning experience. Janice

Sojii, I think everyone should do a 3 month colon/parasite cleanse. It's the first thing I did when I discovered I had M. I felt so much better, and think it's why I have no other symptoms except lesions on my face with the expected various debris. Google DrNatura. It's All That the testimonies say it is. And now they make liquid antiparasite drops. So you would have to drink a glass of fiber( tastes Good in apple juice, take the drops and drink a cup of senna tea at night.I posted about this stuff many times. If you can't afford this kit product you could put together your own by buying a phyium drink product, senna tea and some other liquid antiparasite. The idea of this program is to pull the mucus out with the phylim, kill the parasites with the antiparasitic and flush them out with the senna tea. Can't say enough good about it ! I'm due to do it again soon. This time with the Toxin Out Kit.
I have been procrastinating about it. I don't know why
