| Posey - cladosporium is VERY common. I had it growing in my showerheads and that's what my "black specks" are. My skin got severely infected when my immune system tanked. I still have some that I still pull out of my skin. It's also infected my sinuses as well.... |

| I don't know for sure what the white stuff is, but it very quickly took over the entire petri dish; even over the cladosporium which was 2 green spots which were growing in the dish. Like I said, the white was growing so rapidly it was about to go over the sides of the dish. This stuff in that dish, which came from our Heat-A/C vents would explain why I haven't been able to breathe through my nose for years.

| I had this guy come out and he said he checked for mold, but they didn't culture it so I know that was baloney. I need to get the kit from Home Depot. Does Lowe's have it? I'm not too fond of the way the Home Depot here treats customers. |

| you should have seeen the mold in the house i moved from, its was a green and white and black and it bubbled!! im not kidding, it was on the celing of the garage and you were just so tempted to poke it with a stick, but i never did, the garages had concrete the mold ATE STRAIGHT THROUGH.im on a different computer than usual, old one died so i need to load my pics onto this one... when i lived there, the neighbors would really have a lot of resperatory trouble, it would sound like a wet cough almost, sometimes a 'kennel cough' type thing. bad part is, the kids would always get it the worst. and this punk manager keeps renting th eplace out, even though he knows it makes people sick.. i never got sick, weird, huh?

| Belle, I'm not even sure we have a Lowe's here. That's how long I have been out of circulation. So much new stuff in my surrounding and I don't even know about it. But, I know the one at Home Depot has the petri dish in it. The brand name is Mold Armor. I have another mold test kit and it only has tape in it for visible mold. You touch the sticky side to the mold and have that analyzed. Mold Armor is $10. But the testing from the company costs $40. I have to find my email from Miriam from Florida because it cost her $30. at the lab she used. She also told me what to do about clean up; which I will have to post here. First I need to get some work done. I can't do much in a day and mornings are best. I will be back here in a few hrs. and post the info. I still want to know what the white stuff is so I am going to get another test tomorrow and do it again and maybe send it somewhere else. hugs, posey
