Default test results

The doctor emailed me and said that she sent out the test results to me in the mail. She said it showed no parasites. I don't get it. What is hopping and biting? I can feel them hop. She said that I had almost NO beneficial bacteria at all. Apparently I have no toxins either even though I'm having neurological symptoms with no other explanation. She wants me to take a probiotic but they make me itch so badly. Others with M have been positive for several things with these tests. I'm confused and so upset that I spent this money. I felt so sure about this. Something has to be causing the itching when I eat any carb at all, the chronic fatigue, the eye twitch, brain fog, lesions, and incredible foot pain. My theory was that M was a combination of a lot of diseases rolled into one. I was so happy today. I have a new school and it's been great so far. My coteacher works as hard as I do. I was hoping to find something that insurance could help pay for. Obviously not the case. Thanks for listening.

Default Candida Albicans?

Does the test you've taken test for pathogens such as Fungi, ie candida albicans or just parasites? It sounds like your symptoms are possibly related to that or perhaps severe food allergies. I agree that these symptoms of M sound like many diseases rolled into one. May be kinda frustrating but then again no bugs... Yah! Candida when systemic may travel through the bloodstream to other parts of the body and erupt in lesions/spots through the skin. Just some more questions huh... never any answers.
Sorry
Xib

What lab did you use for your test? Did your doctor give you a hard copy of your test results? Janice

All pro biotics are not created equal . Mabey your allergic to some type of filler they put in the one you use. Try another brand if the ones you have make you itch.( I know certain brands of mild thistle make me sick.) I use KLAIRE labs ther-biotic detox support. They are vegitarian capsules. I get them from my doc. I guess you could get them on line. Just don't give up on doing the pro biotic, it is so very important . Janice

belle9,If they found no parasites they may have been loking for a live one, practially no skin scraping will reveal that part.Unless its scabbies.Springtail will just jump off the slide and test paper like a flea. If you feel like you have itching and jumping bodies, then you do. Do the salt thing . Shampoo, while its lathered add a handful of tablesalt and rub it in to the point of being at least half disolved, if it does not hurt to bad let it sit for an hour at least.Even more if you can stand it. They will pour out .Salt kills bugs! Not always but it will drive them out at least. If you,re a bug and eating a person, try eatting salt for two hours.Thats.it.

I agree with xib. Candida I will bet... At my worst, my candida was out of control. It was overgrown in my sinuses, ears, and on my skin as well. The acne breakouts I had were caused by candida. Switch to an anti-candida diet and take some natural antifungals. You will definitely need to take some probiotics. The itching is likely a die-off reaction. You can take vitamin C to help that possibly?

There aren't really good tests for this, but you can treat based on symptoms alone, which is what my doc is doing. My stool testing did reveal some yeast, but my doc had already been treating me before I got my results..

With candida, many times you will not know you have it until you start cleansing for it...

Default labs

I used Genova labs. She ordered a test for yeasts. I didn't get those results with the stuff she sent me nor did I get one for pathogens.

She (doctor) has given me some Diflucan, but I am running out and no refills. I told her I can eat almost NO carbs (emphasis not yelling). I have lactose free milk with a tiny bit of brown rice cereal (organic). This makes me soooo tired. I am going to get some herbal things tomorrow for it. Food to me is a quality of life issue. I don't want to binge on carbs, I just want to be able to indulge once in a great while without such severe consequences.

Have you been tested for food allergies? Have you been tested for a allergy for gluten. Also, I would ask my doc for copies of all test. Genova gives alot of good information that you can use. You paid for the test, get copies! Janice

Like Janice mentioned, it is a good idea to test for food intolerances.

If it is candida (which is likely), it is important right now to be more strict with your carb-intake and eliminate sugar.. it will take some time, but one day you will be able to indulge from time to time without severe consequences.
