| Janice, I eat a little bit of low carb bread daily. I eat very litte gluten. I have done low-carb mostly for the last six years. I got some oil of oregano and a really good probiotic but the closest store was out of the grapefruit seed extract. I believe this is candida or some fungus and hopefully this will help. I have made some changes (moved schools) that will lower my stress level so that I can fight this. |

| My first thought when you said the test results came up negative but you have severe problems after eating carbs was Celiac Disease. I researched it for myself a while back and from what I remember, it takes a while to get the gluten out of your system. Equally, gluten appears to be in many non-suspect foods, like ketchup for example. Gluten sensitivity will cause fatigue and rashes as the number one symptoms to other problems like headaches, weight gain/loss, not to mention all the fun digestive issues. Something to look into at least. It may or may be what is causing your symptoms. From what many of us on the board have experienced, negative test results are normal and common with what we are going through. I think that's the number one reason this board was started, because we can't find anyone to help us or know what exactly we are dealing with. You seem to be on the right track with the supplements you take, so stick with it. One day we will all overcome this..until then, a lot of sleepless itchy nights and tons of support from each other. Take care! |

| I went to Allergy Associates where I live, because I saw a Dr's name in the Yeast Connection Handbook who is from right here in my area. They did the skin patch testing and also drew blood. The results for Candida Albicans, mold, and dust were STRONG. So I started antigen treatment as well as Nystatin. I am also allergic to gluten, eggs. So being on a diet like mine is pathetic. A yeast free, egg free, and gluten free diet is really tough. I still don't know what to eat, I only know what I can't eat; just about everything. So, non GMO pruducts, a carrot stick, piece of broccoli, a very few grains and there you have it; It sounds so good I'm getting hungry. ![]() btw, haven't noticed any changes in M, except my daily scrubbing and scraping.
