Posey, when you figure out a way to quit smoking, clue me in, too, ok?

I did find a great way to give up caffeine without the headaches if anyone needs that...

I saturate my mattress with borax, and sometimes with baking soda.... my hub no likey.... so I do it when he's not looking,......sometimes I'll vacuum it up, but most of the time I just let it sit, and put my sheets over it.

Posey, I've been wanting to quit smoking tooo...... I was thinking about looking into the electronic cigarette, or e-cig, same thing I guess. Its an expensive habit..... but at the same time, its like my friend......ahhhh everyone has some sort of vice or another....

love,kc

Default Smoking

First, let me thank everyone again. Brain storming is a great way to come up with a plan.

kckc, if you get one of them e-cigs, let me know how it works for you. We could always try quit the buddy system way, however, we'd have to be accountable for sneaking one if that were to happen. Having M makes it all the harder to quit. I am the Master-Rationalizer when it comes to making a reason to have a cig,. but I do believe M makes it harder.

Danza, many times I have thought about what you said.

Excerpt from Danza's post.

If Jesus Is In You Why Would You Want To Poison Him With Toxins From Cigs .............simple As It Is Think Of Him Being In You .....he Is Your Flesh And Your Blood --- Love Him
,..................

I Stopped Instant

I pray for strength to quit because I am a weak person when it comes to quitting.

Sojii, if I do, I will certainly let you know and please let me know if you come upon a way also. Maybe we should have a stop smoking area at MDR for support. What do you think Smokers!?

Below I will list just a few of the addictives that are inhaled with each puff of a cigarette.

DDT - An insecticide that was eventually banned

Acetone - This is usually found in nail polish remover

Butane - You can find this in your lighter fluid

Cyanide - By now we should all know that cyanide is a very deadly poison

Ammonia - Used to clean your home and the smell is awful and overpowering to the senses

Benzene - This product can be found in synthetic rubber and also used to make dye products

Arsenic - Another deadly poison that is often used to kill rats

Formaldehyde - An embalming fluid and teens often use it to get high

Naphthalene - Mothball ingredient

Nicotine - Nicotine was a poison that was once and may still be used to kill roaches

A few other key ingredients include Carbon monoxide and nitrogen oxides,

Looking at these ingredients, I don't know anyone who would willingly put these ingredients into their bodies daily or even hourly the way a smoker does with each cigarette that is smoked. One big issue is that most smokers are completely unaware of what each stick of cigarette contains.

well if cigs r like your friends then why bother praying to GOD???????
U CANT LOVE SATAN AND GOD AT THE SAME TIME
MORGS R FEEDING ON EVERYTHING ABOVE - WHY BOTHER DETOXING IF U R STILL SMOKING MAKES NO SENSE
,,,,,,as I say if you cant love yourself and you r weak LOVE then JESUS within you,, through HIM you might cure yourself and your weaknesses

dzana xx

When I first started taking Morgellons seriously, I kept finding these posts somewhere saying that smoking American Spirit (all-natural, no additives) was good for keeping the monsters out, that they don't like it, and it makes you cough and keep your lungs clear. I don't remember why. But since that was the brand I smoked anyway, it was one more excuse not to quit. Sure, I'm game. Posey, you go first.

Default I'll go 1st

Hey Ya Sojii!!!
I was hesitant to post the same info. American Spirits because they are additive free, natural tobacco. Smoking or chuffing because some of us get the swarming around the nose and mouth that may be caused by nematode infections in the lungs. These nematodes are called strongyloids. Incidently many are prescribed steroids to combat lung infections (but not specifically strongyloids as doctors do not check for that) but steroids actually speed up the life cycle of these parasites and cause even more swarming (which is the hatching of the next generation of eggs)... especially swarming that corrolates with the cycles of the moon. The nanotransformation people had posted a video about this information. Also Dr Gwen Scott has prescribed this treatment (not chain smoking) to combat nematodes in the lungs. It is also a time honored traditional treatment of many indigenous cultures. Also... herbs smoked like mint or peppermint or such seem to work well. If one does not have a garden with said herbs, an organic tea of the same will work. Just open the teabag and use a small pipe to smoke the herbs. Cigarette papers (the ones people roll cigarettes with) have many, many harmful and toxic additives so avoid using those.
This helps tremendously with nematode swarming.
Light up everybody.

Default Sleep - Bedding

We are SO off-topic and I'm about to make it worse...

So steroids escalate activity? I had an injury a couple of weeks ago and the dr. wanted to put me on steroids and muscle relaxants. I've never like the idea of steroids and wine is a perfectly good muscle relaxant. I'm glad I said no.

Re the smoking, I do feel like things "light" around my mouth sometimes - it's been worse this last week, in fact.

Thanks for the explanation Xiblanque. Who knows - we could substitute some cigarettes with smoking mint leaves; might help us cut down on nicotine, too.

Ok, now I'm going back to the original topic - bedding: never, ever smoke in bed.
