Armed Forces Institute of Pathology is closing it's doors for civilian's. I have concerns that the CDC requested help from the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology but now it looks to be limiting it's supply of donors. Not only the donors of morgellons disease but all donors with unknown illnesses. Armed Forces Institute of Pathology (AFIP) - Welcome

Link doesn't work. Hmmmmm... Coincidence? ? Just kidding ya Lostintime. Actually the army lab was supposed to do the pathology. That was the plan when the CDC announced the investigation ...that that army lab would be used. Go back and listen to the teleconference that was held with the media when the investigation was announced and reporters got to ask the questions. I don't think I've posted enough to insert a link but it should be pretty easy to locate. It seems like some people are thinking that the decision was recently made to "turn it over" but I'm thinking this was the plan from the get-go. Correct me if I'm wrong about this. The time line is what troubles me the most! Surely if the CDC had a clue of the daily suffering we would get some kind of update on the findings but I'm sure not holding my breath. The lack of communication tells me that they don't care about the suffering. I mean really...if they had any understanding of the misery of Morgellons then they would have surely communicated with some type of interim report at the very least. To say nothing at all after all this time is criminal. Don't we pay these people's salaries? BTW...Thanks to all who brought this board back. Cindy

Thank you Cindy for calling M to public attention again by doing the interview with Rachel Ray. I wish it could be posted to Youtube The CDC seems to work for no one. They won't even answer Congress.

Thanks Belle. I know a couple people recorded the show but I don't have a DVD yet. Maybe someone will post it YouTube or maybe I can get it up on my website at some point. It was a very brief segment but it did raise awareness, brought in a lot of registrants, and raised around $400 in research contributions. Cindy

I think we all have come too the same conclusion that the cdc is worthless. Kinda of like congress they get their paychecks and retire on more money than when they were working. and reall never care about the people who suffer from this horrible disease. Like many doctors who have turned me away and I know they think Iam nuts. going too a new doctor monday at johns hopkins in Balto and also have another one lined up after that in sept this doctor deals w lyme only but charges 450 per visit and takes no insurance. so will let you all know.
