Even my Latin Scholar resident is not sure what you are attempting to sound so smarmy about. Wanna start again ? TO THE BEST OF HIS ABILITY... YOUR COMMENT MEANS...if there is an actual Language here... "Your comment is made known" I am STUNNED by your proverbial prowess over whatever language this is that you are attempting to dazzle us all with! WOWSER....SO IMPRESSIVE! Are you like TCM to the fifth power in drag.... or what? |

| Hey segway, I'd like to congratulate you...you got her to say a different word here. Impressive. It still starts with an "I" though. ![]() Quote:

| Thanks, TCM. You've saved me the trouble of quoting ![]() Lamb, Lambasting, are we? Three languages? Unnamed of course because we aren't confident of our proficiency in those languages, are we? Who's trying to impress I mutilate a couple of languages too. Latin's not one of them, unfortunately. You see, I was poking fun at your ignorati mantra. Ignorati doesn't quite mean what you are attempting to communicate, either: definitions change as they are adopted into other languages (smarmy's not exactly the word you mean either, but I digress). Regardless, Mr Reverse should have at least been able tell you the noun was probably missing and another verb should have been substituted or removed altogether. Declination and conjugation in a language one doesn't know is quite difficult. But alas, I'll try again:ignarus narro. 'Narro' probably isn't intransitive, but oh well. In your educational pursuits, did you find transgender references useful? LC-ish to say the least. You'll find LC isn't a very good resource for assessing anyone and definitely not someone to imitate. |
