Keloids (Cheloids)

I have been diagnosed with KELOIDS (alternate spelling CHELOIDS).

These are raised scar tissue, that often have strange sensations, like itching and pain. They can SPREAD to surrounding tissue.

Here is the Merriam Webster definition:

Main Entry: ke·loid
Variant(s): also che·loid \ˈkē-ˌlȯid\
Function: noun
: a thick scar resulting from excessive growth of fibrous tissue and occurring especially after burns or radiation injury

Notice it is excessive growth of FIBROUS tissue.

Here's something really strange about them. One of the treatments is SILICONE patches.

I don't get it. But I know these are in the places I had lesions. They are very unsightly and hurt. They are very difficult to treat.

Has anyone else been diagnosed with keloids?

There are Keloids and there are Hypertrophic Scars, and they are sometimes hard to differentiate.

I am writing on all the UNKNOWN CAUSE FIBROUS DISEASE.

This affect I have also suffered, it was on my wrist, I treated it so many times with hydrogen peroxide that it turned into like white Chinese writing, looks sorta like tic tac toe at the very base of my wrist in line with the thumb.

The difference in this fibrous material, it is always painful, its painful just like a planters wart, which is also fibrous material and I have had them also.

The one lesion that has been biopsied off the side of my head was also FIBROUS UMKNOWN CAUSE MATERIAL.

i would think this alarming to some.

Keiloids come because the body fails to turn off the healing process (collagen). I think we have a problem with the collagen and keratin in our bodies. I have been trying to tie in parasites, collagen, keratin and fungus all together. I am definetly no doctor or scientist, just a goof ball from south Florida trying to understand the weirdness factor. It's my observation that my skin ,other then my face looks Young. I'm 51 but I could be a Palmolive Hand Model
That one time my face cleared up totally for 2 months for some unknown reason, I could not believe how beautiful I was, really, it was like a 16 yr old, not even one large pore or wrinkle. So maybe the collegen has a lot to do with it.

Janice my skin has always looked good, except when I treated, then the underskin malady shriveled up like a prune, in a day it would be GONE.


FIBROUS UNKNOWN CAUSE MATERIAL, what don't people get about those words, you must know more about it than the researchers as they say fibrous material form when PRIONS tale a left turn when they should have taken a right.

Researchers have ideas but so far no answers, with fibrous material disease being THRUST into the open now you would think, hmmmmmmm, let me look into this, keep on flip flopping untill one of your situations come up fibrous disease, hopefully it will be Alzheimers first so we do not have to worry about the others, LOL!!!

The writing is on the wall, I guess not many went to the same school as I did.

As the doctors have said for years, if I can not abate your illness your nerves are shot as you dig at your ears!!!!
