Actually no!

She was an honor student at Marymount High School Los Angeles.

Obviously not. Although I am a great proponent of Catholic Schools, I just don't seem to appreciate the alleged academic excellence that is presented here. As the Mother of a teen, I would be remiss in congratulating him for a paper as poorly written as this. Science would be including the question, hypothesis, the step by step methods, the conclusion. Hopefully by today's standards the conclusion will either support or disprove the question.
Thank the Lord I don't live in California anymore.
Best wishes.

The student that found in an experiment that the MPS Global FIR pad actually acts as a catalyst in the growth of mold rather than inhibiting the growth of same is an honor student and is also a volunteer here:

Mission Statement

Looks like this could be a relative at the same facility: Dr Vikki Hufnagel?

Fair use excerpt:

FRS AND OTHER NEW SURGICAL CONCEPTS TEACHING COURSES

Dr. Vikki Hufnagel was one of the first surgeons to use the argon beam
in the USA. She diverted from traditional approach and created Plasma
State Process, which decreases thermal tissue damage and allows one to
shape tissue. She used this for new operations created for FRS, Female
Reconstructive Surgery, and for HemRx tm. Today, she is teaching FRS and
other new technologies to physicians around the world. Surgeons who
take her courses learn new ways to operate as well as new operations. She
brings new equipment and materials for operations and teaches the
surgeons how to use these new materials, including new ways to sew.
She has created a program to repair genitals that have been
mutilated.

and this:

Hufnagel Bioethics Institute

Our founder Dr. Vikki Hufnagel is the only U.S. physician to write state laws to protect women. Her work has consistently been 20-30 years ahead of the standard of practice. The price paid to defend woman's health care rights has been enormous. We are working to educate the public in order to have change take place throughout the United States and the globe. Laws that were written to protect often are not enforced and the public is unaware they even exist . We are here to protect this work and insure it continues.

end excerpts

MPS Global FIR heating pad was used in the experiment. The report is straighforward
re: the results of the project/experiment and conclusions of same, I have no reason to doubt the student at all as to accuracy in her report.

Per the above, it appears that the student is trustworthy and certainly comes from a background of medical professionals who are genuine, bright and show concern for the health of others...

To be honest, the report gives me pause as relates to the FIR pad.

Lamb,

I'd be really happy if my daughter decided to do a science project! She will be 12 in July.

You appear to be pretty high and mighty there (wherever you live). I bet ppl in California are glad you aren't there to judge them in person. I've never understood the Catholics. How do you explain the Saints when the Bible says not to worship false idols.. I have visited Catholic Churches and have seen the statues. I know I'm way off topic here, but so are you.

In the white light,

Sorry you don't care for my religion, I don't really care for Bug Arrest or Bioset. Seems to work both ways for all of us.
This disease sucks and for those who are utterly obsessed with debunking others beliefs it is a lesson in frustration.

Liberals are always so tolerant of those who agree with them.. until someone disagrees with the theory.

One way thinking processes are not helpful for any of us. I am ambivalent about what passes for "excellence in education" on the west coast as much as I dislike the transplanted Easterners who turned your states into the wastelands that they have become.
Best wishes to you and yours.

Go Arizona.

I think we can agree on Good Health to all.
