Question What do you think?

I have a cyber friend that I have never met that I am worried about. She said she has a skin condition that the Drs. can't diagnose. She thinks it is an allergy, yet she has tested negative for food allergies etc. The Dr. has her on steroids.

I asked her to check out the morgellons symtoms to make sure this isn't what she is dealing with, but she doesn't think it is. This has been going on for over a month. If it is morgs she is doing the wrong thing right?

I don't think she is ready to hear more on the subject, but I am having a hard time keeping quiet. Oh, she mentioned head involvement, that is what really got me thinking that it very well could be morgs. I pray that I am wrong and that she is right. DD

Smile Sky

Thank you Sky, you understand why I am concerned and that helps me.
I won't say anything further to her about morgs, but I am hoping she keeps that in mind if the symptoms persist. I just have this feeling that this is what she is dealing with. I am in hopes that it is not. XXOO DD

Default I think steroids are not a good idea.

I have been prescribed huge containers of really high % steroid cream, did nothing. I took a lot of prednisone. Did help my breathing, but for my skin - over the time I took steroids this thing really took off all around my body. My hair fell out, other symptoms (mental, eyesight) started. Later my hair came back curly. Go figure.

I use triamcinilone at night only in as little amount as I can. If I don't, I can't sleep for the itching and then I can't function at work. I have tried everything else that people have suggested. I am allergic to lidocaine. It makes me have fast heart rate and difficulty breathing. Calamine lotion only works for a few hours and then I wake up with biting and stinging. Seems you're d*mned if you do and d*mned if you don't.

Default concerned

Hi, thanks for the sharing your thought on this.

Doc, I will keep checking how things are with her. Not so sure I can say more on the subject even though I want to!

Belle, Have you found a Dr. here in Ga. yet? I know there is one in Atlanta. A Dr. Kolb.

crashcourse, My hair fell out on one side before I knew I had morgs, but it didn't come back in curly, though it did come back, thank goodness.

Jane, no I don't know how clean her house is since I have never met her. It was what she wrote that got me concerned. For over a month she has been to allergists, and other Drs. that I can't remember she said right now, and they can't tell her what is causing her rashes. Sound familar to anyone? They have given her creams and etc. that have not helped. She said the steroids are playing havoc with her system....sounds like a lot of us. I hope I am wrong. I just wanted her to be aware of morgs, so many people have never heard of it.

I hope you are all having a peaceful night and sleeping while I am so wide awake! DD

stress can make people have rashes too, but if you havent met her, be carefull. they start by pulling the heart strings. now, before anybody says anything, im gonna post my own disclaimer her.. im not saying she isnt worthy of friendship, im saying dont let yourself be all stressed over a person you havent met.
tell her to see a doctor.. even spaningers sites NOW say 'entertainment purposes only'..' seek professional help'..
sometimes people just need someone to talk to, i know i do. but i do it wrong, i guess. just dont take anybodys word as gold, not until you know them for a while.id ask her about the c\steriods she suposedly on,either she has another problem, or she may be lying.. im just saying.

Everybody get out of the pool!!!

Steroids, pharmaceuticals do not cure "Morgellons"!!!!

Ask any of us old timers on this board who are healthy again, and they will tell you that pharmaceutical medicine does not work in the long run.

You have to change your diet. Homeopathic/natural medicine works.

We have to protect our rights to have access to natural medicine before the government blocks access to/makes it mandatory to have a prescription to vitamins, herbs, minerals that grow naturally or are part of healthy foods that Monsanto/GMO's are depleting from our food sources.

Please help, this is important, check out this site: Fake “Safety” Bills – Clear and Present Threat to Health Freedom

In the white light,
~jonsi
