| Hi Cyn, In my case, my bathroom is the 2nd worse room in our house! The 1st is room is our other bathroom. Where we live and our house contribute to mold, cold, dampness. I would imagine that there are lots of morgies on the floor and the cracks and creavaces around the toilet. Just try to clean most of the room from a long handle.I feel like the bites are going at me, when I am with my cat and my dog. And when I was at the Morgellons Conference. Hope I helped a bit. When I sweep, vacuum, and wash clothes, I really do get the bad itchies. Hella Last edited by hellalone; April 11th, 2010 at 01:45 AM. Reason: I did not answer the question |

| lol Cyn. I dont think it is a dumb question. the bathroom probably gets the most germs and is best for growing icky things. If you ever need to delete tho, just go to "edit" and then hit "delete." Hmmmm... but maybe that wont work for the first post in a thread. I've never tried that. |

| Thank you Hellalone and Fracty, I don't like chemicals and try to avoid as much as possible but I found this sanitizing fogger called Saniguard. It's dry does not leave a residue. Hospitals use it to disinfect rooms. Now available for purchase. Kind of like a bug fogger but kills germs. You set it leave the room and return after the time stated. Sounds safer then being in the room with it all. I am still researching it and will be looking into the MSDS more carefully. Several knock offs are coming on the market. I recently ordered Bug Arrest too wondering if it can be used in a fogging machine? Jonsi? ![]() Not sure a good idea yet. I will let you know if the MSDS does not contain anything that leaves a dangerous residue.

| I've recently begun using heated Cedar Wood essential oil (juniperus virginiana) from mountainroseherbs.com. I heat the oil on a cup warmer in a little teacup. It permeates the space and would probably work well in the bathroom if left on overnight with the door closed. I use it in isolated ways, like tenting my couch or computer chair in plastic and placing the cup warmer in the tent. I'm not sure how long you'd leave it on. Experiment. I think the critters like moisture, so make sure there are no leaky faucets,. Maybe wipe out tub after bathing. Don't know if you use a hamper in the bathroom, but make sure it is sealed (plastic bin). Another way to clear the space of living creatures is to use menthol crystals—again mountainroseherbs.com sells them. Not good to continually breathe that stuff, but I used to put my dirty clothes in a bin, heat the menthol for a few hours, turn it off and let the clothes stay in there at least overnight if not longer before I'd wash them. This way anything that was living in them, is dead and I didn't re-infest myself when handling dirty clothes. If I felt my bathroom was infesting me, I'd use it overnight. Hope this helps. |

I use to clean houses for a living and believe it or not. i really enjoyed it. i miss it, and the people i worked for. i don't know what to do anymore. oh yea, that's not a stupid question, iv'e wondered if other people have this problem because i don't see how the can work. |

| I'm sorry sleepy, Yes I feel that anytime I deal with laundry or an area I have no control over because my family does not get it honestly. I have found the fasted way to stop the swarm feeling is rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle sprayed on any body part feeling swarmed which is why I think anyone that deals with daily cleaning chores is going to be more exposed. I'm trying to be more positive about winning this. I have to be.
