| Charles E. Holman Foundation I would encourage everyone to attend this confrence. I think it is very important to support the medical people working on this problem. New information is important. The numbers that show up are important. The way I see it, is I may get some answeers to some of my questions. Dr Wymore and others there might not have all the answeers to what morgellons is but might shed some light as to what it's not. This might prove to be very helpful to what we put in our bodies to fix the problem. Myself...I am looking for better ways to cope and be more comfortable until medical science has a better understanding of this disease. Also meet people that are dealing with this to find out what others are doing that helps. One big reason to attend is I am sure some report is being made by government officials about the intrest in this. Hope to see many of you there. |

| Sorry lostintime, but I don't think you are going to learn anything about "what we put in our bodies to fix the problem". This convention discusses pharmaceutical medicines and does not address healthy, non GMO foods, homeopathic/natural medicine, nor the toxins spread by chem-trails Aerosol Crimes etc............ I went to the conference in 2008... I flew in & it was a big expense for hotel & rental car. If you live nearby I encourage you to attend. I don't believe the press or the government is going to pay any more attention this year than they have in the past 2 years. I look forward to new news from the conference! I hope that everyone who attends will report back to us. ![]() In the white light, ~jonsi

| LostInTime, I am going to the Conference in Austin this Saturday. I am going because I have never been before. And to see and listen to the drs. and nurses and everyone that is talked about on this forum. I do hope to learn something new, and I know that lots of it will be known to me because this is such a good forum. I also am going to be counted. And to sign up for anything good there is to help. This illness consumes me, so I must go. I want to go. Hella |

| I'm not really interested in chem trails nor GMO foods but do think both need to be looked into further. I am more interested in hearing whats being done about this and meet others with this problem. I think it would make press if several thousand people would show up at something like this to make noise about morgellons. I know the numbers will not be very big but sitting in our homes suffering is not getting anywhere. More and more people each year are infected with this. The numbers of people are growing. Many are too sick to travel. Some can't even get out of bed. I will be very polite but will get my 2 cents in. I hope they provide some question and answer time. If not...I will get my 2 cents in anyway. I am sorry you were disapointed in 2008 but at least these people are trying. I have know idea what the CDC is doing but add them in with the insurance companies and we will get very little. I just believe showing support for people working on morgellons needs to be done. There is nothing like looking a person in the eyes when you want the truth. Yes letters need to be writen, phone calls made but attendance is needed too. Not only have I been sick but have grown sicker from going to people that don't think this is real or have know idea what we are talking about. To me its worth going to hear some Dr's say yes this is real...we understand your suffering and we are trying to help. This is what we are doing. This is where we are at on this project. I refuse to suffer the rest of my life sitting in my home wishing something was done to help me. Heck with the fibers! (The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting a differant result) I have been working on this microscopicly sence Aug 09. Do I know more then the doctors...No but I have captured an organisum on film several times that might be producing the fibers. Is it a missing link? Part of the puzzle? Nothing to do with it? Who knows but it will get to the hands of people doing research. I don't look for the fibers anymore. Once I saw them I know what this is(morgellons). I only look for what is producing it. Anyone can tell you to eat healthy foods, excersise and don't put bad things in your body. That is not an answer. I am sure it would help but it's just not going to fix this. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting a differant result I still have room at hotel if any poor soul can get there but can't aford a place to stay. The room is a double. Last edited by lostintime; March 25th, 2010 at 01:45 AM. Reason: Add |

| Hi lostintime, You wrote: Confrance I'm not really interested in chem trails nor GMO foods but do think both need to be looked into further. I am more interested in hearing whats being done about this and meet others with this problem. Everyone I know that has gotten better has changed their diet. A lot of us try to eat organic food or foods that don't contain preservatives. Pesticides, hormones, fast/junk food, GMO etc... (aliens that our bodies do not recognize as natural) "feed" the "morgellons". I just wish that the foundation would address this issue. I attended the 2008 convention Charles E. Holman Foundation Good luck putting your two cents in!!!!! Please let us know what you learn this year. I'm sorry if I upset you. I hope you have a great time and meet some wonderful people who become lifelong friends. If I lived closer to Austin I would be there again this year. In the white light, ~jonsi

| Hi, I would say it this way: If you can afford the time and the $, and you are not too too sick, you should go. And you really should go if you can drive to Austin in 4 - 5 hours. Is there any way we can start a petition or something like that. That would show ether our # of morgies. Or could have our names, if we are not afraid to have them known. And I wonder if the drs. and nurses and scientists who will be at the conference would list their names too, on a or our petition or another such listing. hella |

| Hell - There have been petitions, and a rally in front of the CDC. There are other ways of being with other people who are suffering from this. We have a support group in Tampa, and have been meeting every month since 2008. It is held in a doctors office who sees patients with this, and we have had other doctors attend and even speak. You might try to establish a support group in your area. Members share what they have learned that has helped....and it does seem that the people who are doing the best are going the all-natural route. But this goes beyond organic foods - it includes Far Infrared and particular supplements. I am not trying to dissuade anyone from attending the conference; I am suggesting there are other methods for achieving these benefits, and on an ongoing, enduring basis. SS |

| [quote=commonsense;62221]I have read here on this thread from Clifford Mickelson that it doesn't look like there will be any news. From what I heard, there was no news last year (2009). Dr. Wymore was given $12,000 in 2009 to duplicate the FTIR Fiber analysis and the Agrobacterium study. ![]() Does anyone know if that was done? ![]() Commonsense - I know that it was NOT done... SS |

| Hi there SS, Good to see you posting again. Sorry, off topic I know, but I tried to send you a pm and your box was full. It would be good if more support groups were started successfully. The group which meets in Tampa is unusual as there are no reports of other Morgellons support groups, at least none which have met as regularly as this one does. I am sure it is hard both to start and to keep such a group going as so many with Morgellons do not have the energy to attend. The fact that a doctor allows the group to use her office also helps, especially if she also attends the meetings. SS, I hope to see you around here more often. tcm ![]()
