Okay now I've been around a few years and having spent many a year a single guy I've seen my share of mold growing on stuff in the fridge and dirty dishes that have sat around for a while but now I've seen it all. I've been out of town for nearly 4 weeks and when I left home I had left a few dirty dishes in the sink, well I got back yesterday and it wasn't until a few minutes ago that I noticed something I've never seen before, there's some mold growing on a dish in the sink but not any ordinary mold, this mold has a head of hair, long black hair, like 4 or 5 inches long, I kid you not it looks like someones scalp, anyone ever see anything like this? I'm going to take some pics of it here in a bit and of course I'll have to put it under the scope but I just had to see if anyone has ever seen anything like this before, bizarro world

Yes Steve,,I have seen the hair strands too.
Mostly on the walls,,,,long black ones,,,,no-one in our family has blk hair!!!

Steve, I had a thick black fungus growing all over the inside of my toilet when I came back from a week on vacation - it looked like black moss, sort of. Only happened that one time but it was one of those things that prompted me to get a full house water filter. My one neighbor described a thin black fungus that was causing creepy crawly sensations on his legs (he said it came off when he poured alcohol on his legs in the tub so he's convinced it was growing on his skin).
