| lol, I know about my Viking blood, among other things, because my grandma used to tell me Viking ancestor stories all the time.* But, if that theory is correct then I guess we ALL have that background, or at least most of us, lol. ----------------------- *btw, this is the same grandma who, when I was 4 years old, used to sing: "The worms crawl out, The worms crawl in, They crawl all over your mouth and chin..." That song made me so mad and I would tell her to, "STOP!" Now I'm like, "Dang! what did that grandma know way back then, LOL,!" ![]() |

| Here is a thread started by Sadsack about bloodlines which discusses the genetics of a blood lines which could be connected to morgellons (Haplogroup U5): Blood lines and Morgellons (permalink 1) As mentioned blood type has been discussed more than once on the forum earlier. Evidently this connection was considered at one time by some people interested in morgellons and dismissed. It appears that those with morgellons come from every blood type. I imagine it would take better research to decide if there is a higher percentage of morgellons patients in a particular blood group and also take into account that the most common blood group is type O. If for instance, the most common type were type A that could be significant if the Scandinavian connection to morgellons has validity. Here's a short quote from the website link posted below, which says that the Lapps or Saami people of Scandinavia have a high percentage of type A blood: The A blood allele is somewhat more common around the world than B. About 21% of all people share the A allele. The highest frequencies of A are found in small, unrelated populations, especially the Blackfoot Indians of Montana (30-35%), the Australian Aborigines (many groups are 40-53%), and the Lapps, or Saami people, of Northern Scandinavia (50-90%). The A allele apparently was absent among Central and South American Indians. For those interested here's a site which discusses the different blood types, gives world percentages of types, and has a map showing where the different groups predominate: Modern Human Variation: Distribution of Blood Types

| Kat and I are both A+, and I have Viking heritage. I read today where it has been shown that Morgie's have all the positive blood types but none of the negative ones. Are you finding this to be true? |
