FELLOW MORGIES..piece to the puzzle

well, i just got back from the emergencey room and she said best she can tell its morgellons.. AND i think i have a piece to the puzzle..
first, just like everyone here, i tried to explain ( yeah, may as well be talking alien) what this was, they see the scabs on me. i show them the baggy of buggys i took pics of ( and posted on this site underpics) and they didnt know, so they took it to the lab they had downstairs. she wants to see one of these things 'move' and of course, theyre sleeping.lol. but i had her put a bright light on one and wait ..we wait.. i tell her put peroxide, she didnt want to because she wanted to test one and peroide messes up tests i guess. but she does to get a few moving, and they do.. slowly, tiny white 'fibers' begin to come out of my skin.i had her grab onto one with a tweezers, she was worried about hurting me, but it doesnt hurt. so she tugs on a few of these, and there they are..
now what i think our problem is, we are describing this as parasite, or bugs, and these fibers arent a parasite or a bug. so what are thye? no idea. but i know they are alive, they lay eggs and they spread and grow like crazy..
but think about it. the world is ever changing and evolving, things go extinct, new things appear. well guys, this isnt really a bug, but its definatly real..
we need more research on this!! im glad some of the medical community is checking into this so we can get answers. the docs we have been going too havent seen or heard of a 'live fiber' so they assume its not real. and when a doctor has no answer for you, then he calls you a drunk...or 'delusional'..
this site ROCKS!! theres strength in numbers, and the more people with this problem, the more people are gonna have to listen.. but we are all the lucky ones to get this ground breaking pain in the butt, arent we lucky..haha..
but there is hope, at least there are some doctors that are listning, i had to goto an emergency room out of town again because marian at santa maria sucks..i went to santa ynez hospitol.. very nice people there.
my sugestions...find a doctor or emergency room that is not super busy. they may not have the super high tech gagets of a big hospitol, but there are people that have open minds and will listen. since we dont know what this is, high tech hospitol junk wont helpo anyway, find a small town doc that is used to using their minds to figure out stuff.
i think using the term bug or parasite is missleading, since this fiber isnt either, so just tell them what you have been feeling, seeing, etc.
be patient with a doctor that is at least trying to work with you, since everybody is in the dark right now.but a doctor that dismisses you as a nut, dismiss him for a different doctor.
for whatever reason, we are the first to get this stupid thing. i belive everythng happens for a reason, even if it sucks.
can you imagine the prestige a new doctor will get when he DOES figure this thing out and gives it a name?
we get to wait... but we need to be supportive of each other, this place is great. because it is depressing, nobody wants to listen to you, nobody wants to be around you, and its painfull sometimes. its a mind mess for sure, but anybody that considers suicide, let me just say that you wont die till your numbers up and when its up, your dead. dont try to die before your numbers up, remember that guy that put a gun in his mouth? pulled the trigger ,blew out half his head AND LIVED.. the guy that drank the drano, fried his throat, all the way to his stomach AND LIVED. the guy tried to drive car off a cliff, now in a wheelchair.. my point is dont try to die.. you may live thru it then you'll really be hating it..

I could not agree with you more. People need to stop calling this a bug like perasite. Its not. I have looked at lots of samples under my microscope and nothing like a bug shows up.
I would like Doctors and the people suffering with this to break this down into parts.

The clear,red and blue fibers look very simaler except in color but the black looks differant. The black looks like stacks of blocks forming in a row. In other words the black is replicating itself over and over making a long chain.
This is what feels like something bitting and crawling under the skin. The samples I have seen are pointed on the ends and are pushing its way thew the tissue as it grows.

This is a strange problem that is distroying my life.
Some things look like mold of fungi and some of it looks like a bacterial chain.
Some people think this comes from chem trails and others think this is from lyme or bugs.
I have given it much thought and have tried to be open minded to everyones theroy.
I was thinking about the chem trails theory. I don't subscribe to the government trying to control populations by spraying them. I have no doubt things like testing has been done but this is not it.
So if chem trals were the culprit I would say the airlines have been trying out new bio fuels to save money. Fuel made from fungi or plant matter of some kind. This theroy makes more sence then the government trying to poison its people.
I personal don't buy into this but if it were true there is no way anyone could sue the government or the airlines. It just would never be alowed so just forget that. It would be too costly and the world could not with stand the loss of a major type of transportation. If it was in the fuel it would just be changed and notrhing more would be said about it.

Many people claim they have gotten this from the invironment. This is very possable. I don't know how or why but very possable.

I personaly contracted this from a woman that sufferd from this via sex.
I am sure many people would tend not to belive this and are positive they got this some other way. This is very possable.
I just know what happend to me 5 years ago and remember very clear the moment this happend.
I have a point to make of this. Morgellons,what ever it is can be spead sexualy. This may be bad new for some and good news for others.
I will tell you this...Anything that can be spread sexualy will spread like wild fire. People do have sex. The numbers will grow at a fast rate.
The CDC and other health departments will have to get on boad due to the out cry.
I would encourage everyone suffering from this to continue to seek help and speak out.
I would also encourage anyone really having a hard time to get on an antidepressant or some other means to stay in control.
It may be some time before help arrives. We are stronger in numbers and we need all of us to speak out any way you can.
I just pray there is help to be had.

I am sure the CDC is working on this problem. I am sure in times past nobody belived in any of this but things are differant now. I have seen this brought up on telivision shows.internet and radio. EVERYONE can see this stuff. Its not called delusional anymore. Everyone knows its real. It may take time to sort this out. With this will also coime a breakthrough in getting through biofilm. I belive this must take place before this can be eradicated.

I completely believe you could have contracted M via sex, although I do not think that is the typical route of transmission. I know I did not contract it that way.

I been noticing every person that has it had some type of BLOOD entry. Many were bitten by ticks, some were scratched or cut themselves on brush or trees, some don't know but test positive for Lyme which makes me think it was via a bite. And sex of course can cause exchange of blood fluids, even though it might not be obvious at the time.

I think it's possible the M could have just worked it's way inside you or through your skin, but I think it started w blood. It's just my opinion.

I am wondering tho if you test positive for Lyme.

About the sex, I already strongly suspected it was a route of transmission so for me I don't know how I could ever have a relationship or get married now. It's like part of the illness is having to be alone.

Maybe its easy for us to get bugs with it but the disease is bot bugs. Putting the clear or yellow fluid from a lesion on a slide will have you watching as it replacates. Yhe bulb under the mess will have it running like wild fire.

SEX is most likely the majority of cases, the rest being fuid contact, hospital instraments, tranfusions, possibly even the dentist. You do NOT have to show signs of infection quickly, it could take some time. Just think back to a time when your skin CHANGED, your hair Changed, helth was strange, woman infections, period changes. You will be better able to even say how and when!!!

I know in my case it was a tick. But at the time I did not realize what the "bugs" biting me were. I just did not think realize there were ticks where I live. Also, I thought ticks were very big, only later I found that the phase whre they bite most often is the juvenile, very small phase.

There were lots of thee tiny bugs where I was living trying to bite me. But what really did it was shat I thought was a weird huge blob of tree sap that had fallen into my hair and was stuck on my scalp. I could not pull it off but finally did. I still kept thinking it was something weird that fell on me outside, but again, later I found that the ticks live on you for a few days and puff up like the thing in my head. Also, the reason it would not pull of is because that is what ticks do.

Soon after that the symptoms started in my hair. I thought it was lice at the time, but looking back now I know it was the M.

I think my illness started from eating food which in my case was a fish that also, according to my doctor, had ciguatera, a potent neurotoxin. It was after this that my skin changed and developed lesions. So I personally think, after reading what other members say in many posts on MDR, that there are many ways that Morgellons symptoms can start, not just one or two. Also, there are some people who do have parasites. I did and they were so large there was no question that's what they were. The ones I could see did not look like fibers, although fibers were involved in the lesions too. I also think that some people could get Morgellons from impure water.

Until more research is done though there is no way to know what the common denominator to this illness is. I have long felt a blood parasite could be involved with Morgellons, but I could also say that I think that in some cases there may be parasites in the entire gastrointestinal system (mouth to intestines). Meanwhile where is the research, research, research into this illness? Very slow in coming, especially now that the economy is so dismal.

i dont think sex is the way i got it, i was abused many many years ago by ex, so sex isnt real high on my list. thats not to say that others havent got it that way. it every well could be another way to transmit this.
maybe we have had it all along and different things around us trigger it?

Sky, That's so strange about the cats. When I became really ill, I was convinced it was either something in my water or in my house because I'd had some contractor guys doing work and tearing things out. I was so sick I truly believed I was dying - couldn't get any medical help at first - my dr told me the specimens that I brought in weren't parasites. According to him the little worm/maggot things that were crawling in my hair and on my skin at night were nothing more than laundry lint that must've gotten stuck to my skin. I was desperate and went to stay with my best friend (who sat up with me all night and actually saw the mvmt under my skin) -- my dr wouldn't believe him either. It seems like a nightmare when I look back on it...

I figured if I was dying, I might as well die somewhere nice and booked a trip to the Caribbean. Before I left, I scattered Borax all over the floors in my house. When I came home a week later (feeling a million times better), the Borax looked like salt and pepper -- there were literally thousands of those little black specks in the Borax. I swept it up in piles but left it on the floors and went to a hotel. I forgot to turn one of the floor lamps off when I left - when I came home a few days later the pile of Borax under that lamp was completely black with specks. I don't know if they're attracted to white or lights or why they would crawl into the pile of Borax powder....

I went room by room, closet by closet, drawer by drawer throwing things out, washing the floors, furniture, linens, clothes, etc with pine-sol and borax. Had all my upholstered furniture and rugs steam cleaned. Got bedbug covers for my bed and pillows. Got the best full house water filter I could afford. Rented an apartment for a month and finally, when I came home, was able to sleep in my own bed. I had no idea what M was at that time.

It was only when my neighbors started telling me about the invisible bugs that were bothering them that I realized it was something more. They told me something had invaded their laundry room and they had to buy a new washer/dryer. Come to find out there are quite a few people in the neighborhood having problems and then we start getting notices about these algae blooms in the ponds and figure it has to be connected... I think I may be infected with some sort of fungus that attracts whatever these weird little bugs are. (Which still doesn't explain why the dr insisted they were lint and not bugs.) I don't have as much of a problem as before, but still seem to get this once a month hatching right around the new moon. It's much more manageable now that I know what to look for...

Maybe these little bugs are some new breed of insect that lives in wood floors??? Those little black specks are mean - they really sting when they bite! Plus they can go right through skin - I never walk barefoot anymore...
