Default Morgellons demographics

Does anyone know if there has been an update on the demographics of people who reportedly have Morgellons?

I'm wondering if most people are still in California, Texas and Florida and the spread could actually have come from those States. If so I would wonder 'why' those States...

How can we even get an updated demo?
Kritters - you may need to make us a poll to get our own self-reported, updated demos...
I want to see if new cases came up after the swine flu vax push/if there are more new DOP misdiagnoses since the swine flu vax, too.
Git R Done, I nominate you: "Demographics Coordinator".

Kritts and Bits,

I'd like to know that too! I've repeatedly heard those are the main areas, but we have seen soooo many ppl here from Canada and other areas. I have heard there are ppl all over w this - even lots in South Africa.

It would be great to have specific, reliable data. The more accurate data we have, the better our chances of figuring this out. :thinking-figuring-out-icon-(fracty-too-lazy-to-look-for-it):

Here ya go:

There was a chart or world on some forum I remember seeing over a year ago. I'm sure someone knows...It'd be tough to accomplish since it's rarely even diagnosed thus far. I know... let's see how many people have the DOP diagnosis!

Thanks Kritters. I will have you fill in all my smilies.. after this one.

Actually, I know where the chart is, but why do it myself when I can delegate it, right? lol, jk!

CrashCourse, I did not see your post the first time I came to this thread. It's funny that I mention Canada right after you. I know you are new here, but start watching. You will see SO many ppl here from Canada. Not that it's good news or anything, but still if other ppl have to have this, it is good to know who we all are.

Kritters add---> :kicking-back-watching-The-Office-and-drinking-some-kefir-icon: (thanks Kritters)

Is this what you're looking for? The site needs to be updated. When I registered it was the same total number as now and the map is from 2007. Somewhere I read 60,000 are affected by it, but I can't remember where I read that. The Morg research site says 14,720. I know they're busy but I wish they would update that.

Thanks, Brat!

Kritts, is there a DOP demo map from 2007 we could compare this to?

Who has that map: quacksinneedofsmacks.com? (joke, folks - that is not a real website

I dunno Kritts. I've attached MUK web stats from Feb, showing countries accessing the site. Facinating, but it doesnt really answer your question.

Thanks Jo and Brat~

I wonder how they really would be able to know this. Who would be accumulating the info accurately anyway? How did they get the 2007 info? Obviously we can't get accurate stats.

If every website would do a poll asking where they live and what year they got it, at least we could have a mini version to exprapolate, huh?
