Great News for All Attending Austin, TX. Morgellons Medical Conference!

I booked my room on line and received a great rate. Then, I called the hotel directly and inquired about extending this offer to all going to the conference. Tawanda, office manager, was so kind and helpful. She got the manager involved (Jenna Peters) who approved it on the spot!
Last year the room I had was $89.00 so this price is incredible.
I know full well how to be very penny conscience. So, I am thrilled with this news. The arrangements with North Austin Plaza Hotel & Suites: nightly rate of $34.99 + tax. This is for any available room. You must call the hotel directly. Tell them that you are attending the Charles E. Holman sponsored Medical Conference and that you were referred by Gwen "Sunny" Simmons. This will get you the special rate. You have to get this done quickly ( esp. If you need a double) since all rooms are the same rate. They do offer smoking and non-smoking. They do NOT have breakfast, but have microwaves and coffee w/ c- pots in rooms. There are refreshments (muffins, juice, etc) at the conference. Presently, there are arrangements with a Denny's next to the hotel for 20% discount on meals to guests. Hopefully, this will be still available--the management is checking on this.
The hotel is 16 miles from the conference center. If as many of us as possible stay there, we can car pool with out problems. I am there and can offer rides to as many as we can squeeze in.
For those traveling via plane, I have been told that the airport offers "shuttle pick-up/drop off" service to most hotels at reasonable rates--however, I have to check this to be sure.
