i laid down to go to sleep one night in july 2007 and felt and heard something in my ear, to make a long story short i was up all night pouring, oils, bug repellent, listerine, u name it i tried it i was super freaked cuz i thought it was a spider, when i shone a light in my ear and looked it appeared that a bunch of black legs were emerging but would retract when i tried to remove them, within a week it was in both ears and not long before my entire body had sensations and strange hair like things coming out, anyhow since then the poisons and things and super glue!! i no i no but i figured it would kill whatever was in there, went to several drs over a 10 month period and was told over and over it was a mental thing, so i accepted that i have something very rare and hard to believe, i could not be told i was crazy one more time so ive been suffering in silence embarrased to tell anyone. i got pregnant and my daughter was born with the condition and at 4 months old had a seizure, she turned blue and i thought she was gone, we have spent several weeks in and out of childrens hospitals and she has suffered through several invasive tests and medicine after medicine. I sheepishly asked her first neurologist if that could have anything to do with the morgellons and she told me she never heard of morgellons, since then she has had several seizures a day and is cognitively behind, i feel so horrible for doing this to her, i see black curly hairs embedded in her face and even under her nails, she frequently claws at her ear and it kills me to see her go through this, as horrible as it is, i feel like the more people that get morgellons, the harder it will be to deny and deem pschological.

Hi stupidfibers, I hate to hear your baby is sick from this. I put neem oil in my ears that Really helped me. I had itching and black specks in them. It went away for the most part after 2-3 applications. Everybody seems to disagree on what M is or could be, but I think it's worms from intestinal. I think all babies should be dewormed like puppies are. Not sure with what though ?

Hi there stupidfibers,

I'm so sorry for what you're going through. I have a 2 month old and I worry too about passing Morgellons on to her, but I know if that does happen it isn't my fault. You have to know this too. Please don't blame yourself for what your baby is going through. It's hard enough as it is to deal with what you're going through without feeling responsible. I think it's clear you would have done anything to spare your child any hurt or pain.

I am praying for you. You will get through this.

Thats so sad that your Baby is ill. I will pray for her to get well again.
Has she been given Vaccines as they are the main reason for seizures
My Son was born with this too
He was premature and in an incubator yet he kept getting rashes and unknown infections.
He had spots on his face until he was four that they kept saying where milk spots.
Since I started to avoid the processed foods he has been great.
I still see the odd fiber but he has no itching or leisons.

I apppreciate your problems are far worse than mine but avoiding the toxic junk they call Baby Foods will benefit any child.
