| My Dr. tested me or Mycoplasma and Chlamydia Pneumonia. Both are elevated. The problem is there is no test to show if you have a chronic infection going on or if you had it once and it is gone. However, he believes in letting me make the decision on whether I want to go with treatment; which I think I will. This is an excerpt from his email incase anyone wants to read on it: I usually have the patients read on these to see if you want to do the treatments which are antibiotics for an extended period of time. Check out the chlamydia pneumonia treatment center Cpnhelp.org from Vanderbilt university. I usually follow the same protocol for mycoplasma. Look up both and let me know what you think. For anyone who may not know, this type of Chamydia is not an STD. Just like there are different strains of Herpes such a Chicken Pox, Simplex 2 and 1 etc. So, if you can find your Dr. to do any testing on you it might be worth a sht.

| Posey - If you research Chlamydia p. on the Vanderbilt site, you'll see a lot of associations with Multiple Sclerosis as well. Chlamydia p. is a common finding with Morgellons patients. Very interesting, since I have MS and Morgellons... SS |

| There is a connection with C. Pneumonia. or one of the other Chlamydia strains. I have tested positive for several Chlamydia strains as high as 1:256 but have been told I don't have any of them. I have used Dr Strattons Protocol kinda...I was taking the right drugs but was not taking them according to protocol outline. I did not know about CPN or Dr Stratton at the time. Taking the drugs did react as he states in his plan. I really wish he was working on the Morgellons problem. I strongly believe there is some connection here or a cross reaction in testing but the last case report did say 92% of morgellons patients were pos for C. Pneumonia. The work done at Vanderbilt should have continued but looks as if it was stopped due to money resons...why else? I know what I see under the scope and I can read my labs..... Connection...you bet |
