If you can avoid it, don't pump your own gas, what you are breathing is benzene and it's very nasty stuff. Windshield wiper fluid is made from methanol, "dry gas" is made from xylene, just wear gloves if you have to and turn away from the smell.

When products are packaged, they are usually stored in a storage room. The storage rooms are most likely old and damp. This is where fungus lives.

I'm not trying to be simplistic here, because I believe the agrobacterium is the culprit, but I also believe fungus is implicated.
