| Some of us reach the age when after years when our parents did not having the money to pay for dental care, then at it's high cost and maybe lack of insurance we were unable to pay ourselves, or maybe lost teeth due to an accident and losing teeth, we had to get dentures or partials. There are 2 types that I am aware of; metal and some sort of plastic. I am one of these people and have a partial on top which is the plastic type so that if needed teeth can be added to it. I believe, but do not know for sure, that one of the many "forms" of "M" grows on and into the plastic. The foreign stuff is whitish. It is in and on, even protruding out from the plastic. If I'm not being too personal, has anyone else had this issue? I am scheduled to get a new one but I don't want this plastic again and now I wonder about the metal issue. Is this another toxicity we may be unaware of regarding heavy metals?

| I got a lower denture in July, so I'm still in the healing process. I haven't had issues with the morg buggers getting into the plastic, however it does collect a lot of plaque (a lot). I have to be more stringent with cleaning it than I do with my real teeth. Although I hate having a plate (I'm only 37), I'm seriously considering getting an upper as well in the next year or so. I can't seem to keep my natural teeth from crumbling or losing filings and I've had extensive work done to them in the last year. I've read some pretty terrible things about dental toxicity lately, so having them refilled or root canals done scares the crap out of me. Anyways, back on point, I haven't had trouble yet, but mine is only six months old. ![]() |

| My dad is a retired dentist. I went through braces, I KNOW HOW TO TAKE CARE OF MY TEETH. I had a beautiful smile 8 years ago. i have (had) a lot of gold inlays. My gums are in perfect shape. wITH THIS "m", My teeth are crumbling and the gold falls out. I'm not going to have much more restorative work done because this "M" is affecting my healthy teeth too. I'm going to wait for the rest of my teeth to crumble and then get a full set of dentures. So sad, but I'm looking forward to a full smile again. I'm tired of grinning with no teeth showing. Posey, go for comfort. Itwl, ~jonsi

| Well now...here's a topic we can sink our teeth into :-) I had nightmares since I was a kid about my teeth falling out. Premonition? Superstition? (dreams of teeth falling out means someone giving birth or something) I'd hate to think either holds truth. However, I've mentioned this over the last few years here that two teeth crumbled for no good reason and while eating a piece of cheese or something just as soft. I refuse to let this happen. I have a teeth fettish, what can I say. It's just not okay that **** happens to teeth. So I've been brushing with hydrogen peroxide and baking soda, and swishing with Marc Neuman's wash. So far, no walls have been crumbling down. I think if you want to prevent further deterioration in teeth and gums, we have to do this, plus chew things like cloves and also keep our sinuses free from bacteria and fungus by neti-pot and squirting with salt solution. xoxoKritts Hey, PS Jonsi! I just played a cd by Ottmar Liebert which is a Christmas from Santa Fe!!!!! I had it for a few years and OMG it is so AWESOME!!!!!!!!! Do know him? Does he have any idea what a gifted musician you are? xoxoxoxoxoxoKritts |

| Ottmar Liebert, first time I have heard of him, kritts. I just did a search on him and I like his music too! I wonder if he's doing any x-mas concerts locally. Robert Mirabal had a concert last night in Santa Fe, I should have gone to it... Let's take this over to "For heart, for fun". Teeth, yuck! My sinuses are full of this "M". I water-pic, brush. Whatever this "M" is it is coming from the inside out....through the roots? xxoxox, Love ya, Itwl, ~jonsi

| All my life as far back as I can remember, I have had dreams about my teeth crumbling anf the crumbs falling from my mouth. I too have been wondering about the subconscious mind and how it may relate to sleep. Maybe the subconscious mind may be aware of things going on in our body we don't know of. Weird or not? I have also had some sort of "fear of bugs while I'm sleeping" but cannot specifically remember the dream. Hence, I have always been particular about my bed. I made my bed each morning right away after arising and after any body heat was gone. I could never sleep in an unmade bed. I could never have slept in an unmade made. I think the idea of being unconscious during sleep may relate to this. Another nightmare; I get up at night and flip a light swithch on. No light though. So I try the next room and the next and so on but none of the lights go on, leaving the fear that someone has cut a wire or pulled a fuse. That's as far as it goes. Back in my early 20's and forward, I also severely suffered night time sleep paralysis. I was afraid to go to a Dr. for fear he would think I was on LSD. It wasn't until 5 yrs. ago I learned this is a common symptom of Narcolepsy. This would explain my being tired all my life and taking breaks at work to go take a nap in the bathroom 'cause I couldn't keep my eyes open.
