I wonder why my husband can't see the things I can so plainly see. I try to show him the places where the paint is missing, or the sheetrock is eaten and places in the tile even. He always has an answer... something has bumped it! Half way up the wall? Today he came into the kitchen and said I had used something on the hallway bathroom mirror that was taking the color off the frame..wanna bet? I tried to tell him what was doing it...no way would he believe that. I can see spots all over the place, hardwood flooring included. That is the reason I am constantly vacuuming and mopping and spraying. I try to stay ahead of the buggers, but this is a large house and I get tired, so what to do? I can't enlist his help as he doesn't believe the morgs are doing any damage at all. He doesn't have morgellons and I suppose it does sound far fetched to anyone that doesn't. Just another day in the life of a morg. DD

Does he see them generally or does he just refuse to see them in furniture? My Ex refused to even look at anything I showed him .They were always dog Hairs or whatever. ![]() I know it is because he is scared of what he might find. He would go over the edge if he knew what I know. I don't think he would last a week. ![]()

You are all so right on. I think if he knew what I actually experience he would freak out. I don't share every little detail with him. It bothers me that he can't see the ...what is obvious to me....places around the house that couln't possibly be dings made by careless vacuuming or banging into things. Carla he sees the strange spots on my arms at times (although they have mostly stopped appearing now). I don't know what he thinks about those. He keeps mum. I don't have lesions, so if that starts he will freak. We have been married a loooooong time, so he is in it for the long haul no matter what comes next. d. DD

| i don't share everything because it seems shameful and too embarrassing. I thinkj husbands tend to first get the $ sign light up in their mind and how much everything may cost. At least it seems that way on my end. But I do have to say my husband has gotten better. He orders oils for me and buts $20-$30 a week in paper towel.

Posey, We really should not feel shame. None of us asked for this condition, but I do know what you mean. there is no reason to share every little detail as far as I can see. My husband doesn't groan about the money, mainly because it is mostly mine I spend on treatment. I ran my own business for years and don't ask his permission to buy things LOL! Maybe that should shame me huh? XXOO DD

Being only 22 with morgies, I find it's the opposite. Guys are really interested and will want to see it up close with the microscope.....Chicks freak out and want nothing to do with the subject.
