| Due to the many washes my clothes have been through, they are getting ragged and the edges are exceptionally ragged and shredding. I have been either cutting this off or burning it off. I took a close look today and noticed the finer fibers from the ragged edges and pulled them off to look at. Without any specialty testing, I would guess at a high % rate that they are the same thing as the "M" fibers on me and elsewhere. They are elastic like, shiny, and stretch when pulled, ans when pukked of there is the regular cotton fiber stuff around them. When looking at them under magnified glass on top of magnified mirror, I about flipped!! I have been using Yellow Out and Iron Out in my wash because of the iron in our water. It is disgusting. I am wondering if this may kiil it. I don't know what is in it, I can't seem to find the ingredients on container. But you can't have it by your face at all, especially when you open it because you can actually see the vapors come out. This is the first product in my life I have ever bought that des what it says it will do. Now, about these clothes: I wear jeans with elastic only in the back. I have also noticed that in other clothing, sometimes there seems to be what might be "M" related in the stitching or the elastic around the legs on nylon undies. However, in all the clothes, it seems that it takes a few washings for this to become noticable to us who sadly happen to know about and have experience with "M". Has anyone else seen such things? It gets me wondering now about the neck, ankles, wrist, and anywhere ther may be elastic or seams stitched, and what is thread for stitching made from. I looked again and can hardly believe it. One has the coarser thing unevenly through it with the shiny one and then there are the squiggly ones going outward and around it like they do on Q-tips.I'm going to try and take a picture if I can.

| I've seen these clear fibers in the wash also. The craziest thing is when I open the dryer (after using two dryer sheets..so it isn't static) I can see tiny things of lint flying at me, what looks like hundreds of them. I also get more itchy around dust and such so I assume it has something to so with the "magnetism" for lack of a better word. I am not sure, some fibers keep moving on their own on my microscope and some don't unless I go to touch them, then its almost like a magnet on magnet in that my finger looks like it repels the fiber as the fiber moves away for a second and then is back trying to attack to it. I notice this with my hair as well. My hair is constantly tickling my face. The actual hair strands are very very thin and seem to be attracted to the sides of my face. I wore a new sweater the other day (I washed it before wearing it) and kept finding fuzzballs of that material sticking to my face. I now realize why wearing wool coats always made my eyes red and irritated, because it seems things have an odd attraction to my face. As I said I've seen eyelashes come out of my skin, hairs that look like my dogs...I think whatever this Morgs is it looks to attract something in particular....but attracts everything light enough to fly through the air. |

| I had totally forgotten about this but about 1999-2000.. I rubbed my abdomen raw in my sleep! I finally decided that it was the interaction of my detergent and the elastic in my bikini underwear irritating my skin. I itched like mad at night, in a deep sleep. That's when I started using the hypo allergenic Arm and Hammer Detergent, the one with the "light" green label, not the kelly green "mountain" something. I also had a very deep itch in my upper left arm at night only, it would awaken me from a deep sleep. My sister had experienced the same thing in the same spot during her menopause so I did not think much of it. My Mom had been chemically allergic to a million things all of her adult life and had Alzheimer's at the time and she broke out in a all over body rash about 2 years prior so everybody was using the hypo allergenic detergent and all improved. Except for the upper arm itch. I took a lot of fertility drugs, i.e. hormones, progesterone, estrogen, lupron, etc. at the time as I was trying to get pregnant to no avail. I never connected the dots at the time, just thought it was an abberation in my case due to the fertility drugs. I still have these symptoms on occasion even though I am post menopausal. My skin in those spots has become like leather from the constant scratching and my outer layer of skin is virtually numb, but the itches underneath feel like electro magnetic shocks and guess what? Both spots are covered with those depigmented white spots. I think lyme disease has much to do with this also. I was likely born with it and have passed it along to my own child. See lymecrymes.com. It all started with the elastic in the underwear. Wow. |

| Yes, once clothes begin to "turn to rags" you can see these fibers clearly. Yesterday I took a cig. lighter and burned them around the waist, then quickly went over the bottom of legs, and the darts in the front inside my jeans. A I said, I need clothes so bad because ever since I have discovered what I have and from what, I have just kept a few clothes I wear and they are all washed out. I don't want to go buy something and then not wear it. We all know how expensive it is now days for clothes, and then to spend that kind of money on something which is going to beat back all the money I have been spending on supplements and such to boost immune system as well as the anti fungal supplements seemsvery contradictory. There is no doubt in my mind that what I singe fro my clothes are one and the same as what is on/in me. I have looked at the so closely, yet I don't see them moving. But these clothes have also been washed in many different things, such as fungicides for outdoors, lime away, wicdshield washer for winter, etc. I'm hoping I have killed anything that wad active. However, since I stafrted seeing this I keep shirt tucked in and keep the waist part of jeans from my skin. Not that that may help, but I don't know either way so I err on the side of caution. Never, ever in my life did I even imagine I would be afraid of dust or so many things in my life now. It's tough to deal with, as we all know. It's early, and when I tried to "preview" reply I couldn't do it. Please excuse typo's.

| That is what I was trying to say from the beginning. I noticed the same thing. I wrote more about it today in the "clothing" thread in the other section. I spend HOURS trying to get rid of these things. The best helpers for me so far are vinegar, Borax, Lysol sprays on seams, and lots of dryer heat, coupled with everything else I do. I keep everything so sealed up it makes the precautions at an infectious ward of a hospital look relaxed. But absolutely, before I even knew there was such a thing as Morgellons, I noticed this variable. It is definitely significant. And I think you are seeing the actual GMO worms, and in some cases inorganic growths caused from the reckless GMO and poisons used in the crops. | Try Borax in every load of wash! I've been using borax for over two years now. Don't be lazy! Buy it! It works. Pre-soak for several hours. I also use 7th Generation laundry detergent and d/w soap. Green Cleaning Products - Diapers - Laundry Detergent - Non-toxic Cleaners I also spray my dryer filter with bug arrest. You can spray your clothes & the following with bug arrest on sheets, walls, car, front/back porch, pets, yourself with bug arrest too. Let it evaporate for best results. Call your local pet stores/vet to see if they carry bug arrest. It does work! We need to be aware of what we are putting back into mother Earth. If we use toxins, it will slap us in our face faster than we can say "Morgellons". In the white light, ~jonsi

| Hi Posey, If Iron out is working makes you wonder if a Iron dependent bacteria is involved. I have wondered about this when it comes to our water. I do not think I have high Iron but possible a high Manganese. Both can feed bacteria. I use to have the fibers fly out of my front load washer when I opened it at the end of a load. I have not seen this with my new top loader but maybe one time with clothes I believe were more contaminated more then the general ones . Has anyone else made a connection with sports clothes having more issues? I feel like I am being attacked by both mold and bacteria and insects as a result of the first two. . Just got a high end air purifier and I ordered a new vacuum. No more bagless for me to much contamination when emptying them. Is there a fabric that anyone has found that is resistant to this? Silk? maybe.

| Hey Cin, My tests showed both mercury and iron overload so I have to continue chelation and take chlorella, etc. I have no idea where I got so much iron in my system except from vegetables from the earth. Iron could be a factor... Kritts |

| Speaking of sports clothes. many have spandex, yes? Or some latex similar fabric. I know I once had a strapless bra I absolutely could not wear because it itched so badly at the top where it had some sort of elastic so it wouldn't slip down. I'm pretty certain it was just prior to developing this, but of course, there were so many other possible sources. This connection to latex, spandex, could also be (as I mentioned prior) the connection to why so many nurses have morgellons. Why not the doctors? (male) Does it possibly have something to do with HORMONES? Now I have to try to find my hormones posts. What a massive jigsaw puzzle this thing is. Biotic Factors About 90 species of fungi are known to attack Hevea trees, the most prevalent ones being the following: Botryodiplodia elactica and B. theobromae, Colletotrichum heveae (leaf spot), Fomes lamaensis (brown root rot), Gloeosporium heveae (die-back), Oidium heveae (powdery mildew), Pellicularis salmonicolor (pink disease), Phytophthora palmivora (causing fruit rot, leaf-fall, black thread, and die-back), Polystichus occidentalis and P. personii (white spongy rot), Sphaerella heveae (rim bright), Sphaerostilbe repens (red rot) and Ustulina maxima (charcoal rot). It is also attacked by Bacterium albilineans, and parasitized by Loranthus spp. Nematodes isolated from Hevea brasiliensis include: Helicotylenchus cavenessi,H. dihystera, H. erythrinae, Meloidogyne incognita acrita, M. javanica, Pratylenchus coffeae, P. brachyurus. (Golden, p.c., 1984) Insect pests include the following species: Scale insects (Aspidiotus cyanophylli and Parasaissetia nigra). White ants cause serious damage to trees at all ages. Snails can be serious pests to young trees. Various animals can damage the trunks (Reed, 1976). The Hevea tree is subject to many types of diseases that must be controlled for economic production. Three types of root disease, classified as white, red, and brown, are controlled by cutting away diseased tissue and applying prophylactic coatings. Panel diseases, classified as black stripe, moldy rot, and panel necrosis, are minimized by spraying or coating specific fungicides. Stem disease, consisting of pink disease, stem canker, and dieback is reduced by brushing on specific fungicides. Leaf disease, consisting of abnormal leaf fall, Gloeosporium leaf disease, powdery mildew, and bird's eye spot, is controlled by a variety of sprays, including copper oxychloride, sulfur dust, and others applied by spray or dusting techniques (Rogers, 1981). ___ Kritts |
