I try my best not to buy things from China, but that's damn near impossible. With all of the other faulty/health hazards that have come from here, I worry. These officials better help these poor homeowners, last I heard their insurances companies said..."No way"

Sorry Venetia, I didn't mean to unneccesarily take up board space.

I just happen to come across this article recently and posted it because in reality it is proof we do not know what we are REALLY buying. I need new clothes so bad and am afraid to go buy any.

I was thinking about organic cotton but I bought some organic cotton wash clothes and inspected them closely before using. I was truly amazed at what I saw that I could not see without visual enhancement. Some more wasted money. I'd take them back but it's been too long and I lost receipt.

Anyone know about what Hemp is? Of course I would buy organic hemp clothes.

It is perfectly appropriate to post things like this. As you say, it is one of the things that is going on in the world today. Actually, when you go to the Home page, you will actually see a forum called "World News" where pretty much anything goes.

I live in FL, where most of these cases occurred during the housing boom. It's a very big deal here.

Thanks for posting this, V~ If I saw it I didn't remember it and didn't know it was strontium sulfide. I wonder how they were making the sheetrock where those traces were acquired! Seems too many things are coming from the earth these days that are affecting our health.

You can take up all the board space you want-

I'm glad you brought up the issue- it's important for people to understand.

The drywall contains sheet rock- much of which is made from limestone. Limestone contains/retains radiation (Strontium). Drywall from China may have additional components.

What I take issue with is the fact that they play coy- act like they have no idea why the Chinese (and other) drywall is creating a toxic nightmare for people.

The Chinese (and others) know good and well what those poor people are dealing with and they don't give a rat's rump.

Rots my socks.
