Quick Question - Anxiety and Sinus Symptoms

I find that EyeBright/nettle helps me with sinuses as well as acts like an herbal antihistamine. Goldenseal has done good things for me as well.


As for the fungal aspect of this, do either of you eat coconut oil? Its a great immune booster and natural antiviral and antifungal. I use it on my skin and my son's skin. I also eat it. Funny, they say it helps some with thyroid problems....could it be killing the fungus and allowing the thyroid to function normally again? Food for thought.

Hey Bratster!

Yes! I bought a huge container of it and I actually used it to cook with tonite. It has a higher burning point than other oils, but I put whatever I'm cooking in it as well as a tad olive oil in organic chicken broth and white wine. It was shrimp tonite.

I also put coconut oil in a small container I keep with me to use for lip balm. It melts in the sun, so I just put the oil on my lips (and any blemish I have at the moment)...probably herpes outbreaks.

Have you tried it internally? I eat it and with this or thyroid or both I started getting canker sores. My canker sores when I got them initially lasted over a week and they were so painful. I got only one when I started coconut oil and I barely knew I had it other than from appearance It was healing in a day! I think one of the links I posted mentions the herpes virus. If not try a search on herpes and coconut oil. The medium fatty acid chain (my memory sucks I think it was them or the lauric acid) disables the virus. May shorten the outbreak or prevent them altogether. I have to melt it....otherwise its like eating chapstick...and I gag! I melt it in the microwave and chase it with coffee. Its great too for candida. I take a tablespoon three times a day, although I've been slacking lately.

This is fabulous! I saute my chicken or shrimp slowly in coconut oil and a little organic chicken broth and splash of white wine and it is very tasty.

I can't believe how coconut oil has gotten such a bad rap (actually, I do) and here is the history on that. Thanks so much for this information. I think I'll incorporate the oil in smoothies, too!

Hey Kritts, besides pineapples and other weird stuff, Kam and I are looking at food right now..lol..

ONE curious observation we could make was in milk. A simple brand, reduced fat, with added vitamins, non organic. We took a clean slide and put a dab of milk on it and placed it under the microscope at 100x.

I could hardly trust my eyes!...something was moving..First we thought it might be the milk spreading on the slide but after a few minutes this 'thing' kept on moving and wiggling...

How did this get in to the milk? Did it happen during the dairy process? Doesn't the pasteurization kill it? Is the milk 'contaminated' in the first place? Is it from the plastic bottle?

What's going on??

Milk is a horrible liquid. The pasturizing does squat to kill what's in it. I get organic milk which is pasturized 3 times, so it not only kills the critters, but all the nutrients. Didn't someone here post an expose' on milk, or did I see that in Dr. Mercola's newsletter? Forget.

I've started using almond or rice milk in my organic coffee now. It's awesome!!!

Yes, me too, Kritts! After we saw this..oh boy..we decided to buy canned milk. I think it goes through a different process than fresh milk?

I'm not sure what to think of this..but that 'worm' and the way it wiggled looked the same what I have seen in water samples.

Anyway..almond milk?..sounds yum, yum, yummy. Surely gives a pretty good taste to it!..hey!..we'll get it too!

yes! i get the brain fog and my nose plugs up, voice gets gruff, like junk in my lungs.ill be feeling good, then all the sudden i feel bad, dizzy.
