Here's the latest entry on "foot blog". Something weird sure is going on!! "January 8, 2010 at 3:22 pm Hi, I just started getting a sharp pain in the pad of my left foot this morning. So i took off my boot and searched my sock for any objects. Nothing. Later on that night i was taking a shower and a sharp pain like i was stepping on glass was in my foot. So i looked at my foot and saw a thin black line in my foot. I started to dig at it and finally got it out. Now i know for a fact that it was not only a human hair but it was my hair, because one it had a folical at the end and two I am a soldier in Iraq and there is no animals near me." SS

What is so odd about a follicle developing on the bottom of the foot,,if we crawled around on our knees,,instead of walking,,Im sure our soles of feet would be covered in hair.. A few cases sounded odd(questionable),,I will admit,,,and the ones with pets,,well.,,its called impaction.. Every now and then if you step on a dog,or cat hair,,it can penatrate,,like jabbing a straw through an apple..

Hairs aren't anywhere near "stiff" enough to penetrate skin, especially not the tough, thick skin on the bottom of your feet. These hairs are completely under the skin. Even IF the tip of a hair were able to penetrate (like fiber glass), how would an inches long hair get completely under the skin, and lay out flat? Something is going on here. I think that is why this doctor set up the blog - trying to get information from other people who've experienced it in order to try to figure out what the hey is going on. (I did notice 2-3 comments about Morgellons there). SS

I agree with you Sack, something going on there and I'd say it's morgellons related, hair follicles don't exist on palms of hands and soles of feet, a medical fact.
