| Katinka Do you really think the whole set of information (not), is a farce. I tend to think that the cdc was sort of forced to write something because of the time factor. I am hoping that part of the info is correct and that they are still working on this terrible illness. I guess I just should not pin all my hopes on this paper. Thanks for giving us this new info, whether good or bad or a lie!!! |

| When I received this via my email I really thought there would be "something, anything" NEW. I mean it has been iver a year. Haven't other researchers gotten further along without huge funding? I do believe I am going to send an email to the address they have listed and say thet it would be nice to go to our Drs. for help except they all treat us like we're nuts and diagnose us with DOP without the required examinations for this diagnosis. This is malpractice, per the statement from the Dr. who gives the advice on what to d at a Dr. appt. Don't have the link right now. Will have to find. Not to mention thatey don't even look at our skin!!

| I don't have much faith in the CDC's so called "investigation" for a number of reasons. I could be wrong, but... We shall see, eh? I will be on Jeff Rense Friday night from 7-8 pm Pacific time and we will be reviewing the CDC's track record on this subject. Tune in and check it out. -Cliff Mickelson |

| I've just now noticed this update, for all that it is worth on my e-mail alert. "Alert, alert.....we are dragging our feet...yah" Haha. This is the only aspect which gives any indictation that they are even doing ANYTHING at all!!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Excerpt from CDC "Unexplained Dermopathy" page. What is the current status of the investigation? Study recruitment, collection of survey data and the clinical examinations have been completed. Testing of blood and other samples is underway and data analysis will follow. No study results are available at this time. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Only one interesting thing kind of caught my eye and that is in the "related links" area of the page and the is the link to the "National Center for Zoonotic, Vector Borne and Enteric Diseases." NCZVED. Is there a link? Is this an admission of a link? You decide. Just as a lil reminder. What happened to the original press release with the then head of the CDC Ms. Pearson and her announcement to the press at a press conference back on ......uh........January 18th 2008? There used to be a transcript posted...it has now disappeared. hmmm If anyone has that saved please post it. Thanks. I've just found it. Took some digging. I will now save this as it is a small piece of proof of them moving at a snails pace. Accountability. Found it: CDC Press Briefing Transcripts January 16, 2008 Excerpt: Dr. Michele Pearson; January 17, 2008; We certainly understand that these are- those who are effected by this condition are very anxious for answers. But we estimate that it could take 12 months or longer to complete this investigation. January 17, 2008; Dr. Joe Selby, Our study will proceed in three stages, starting almost immediately. Current date: September 11, 2009. Twenty month mark is fastly approaching. Morgan Last edited by Morgan; September 11th, 2009 at 12:16 PM. |

| Thanks for the reminder about the foot dragging Morgan. I bet all the free cash has long disappeared into some of those outstanding government programs, like cash for clunkers. So no money left to write up the morgellons study. Besides so many with this disease are older so... Gotta love it. tcm

| Lets see, screen sized images of the H1N1 virus within 2 weeks from blood samples out of mexico earlier this year. The morgellons "radical" spore is literally 100x larger than a viron. Compared to the image of the H1N1 being screen sized, it would be a poster board with electron microscope detail, the size of a CAR. So, I say farce. |

| Hi everyone Just a quick note. We had to change the Rense show date. Same time but next Friday instead of today. Jeff has been having some issues with hackers and other problems that have caused him some headaches today.... so we will be airing 7PM Pacific next Friday. -Cliff Mickelson |
