I've been getting it from holland and barrett, but very expensive (£10 a tub).

It should be solid at room temp, so not sure this is the real deal....but sooo cheap, maybe worth a call.

Hi Carla...haven't got a local indian shop, wish I had as my Neem products would be a lot cheaper, I ordered my Coconut butter from Bodykind yesterday, its by Higher Nature was £14.90 for 400gr, I dont know what the difference is in mml & grams.

Tastes O.K. have just eaten a large tablespoon of it, I'm going to starting using in place of spread on bread & Toast as well, its supposed to be slimming, will see what its like on skin also, will let you know,BTW its in a plastic jar...Spots

Hey Spots, that's a great idea! instead of butter! I'll bet if you mix in some raw organic honey on something you want a little sweeter that would be a really healthy addition! (and cinnamon)

Speaking of coconut butter that reminds me of when I was a kid and everyone used cocobutter for all kinds of things like sunburn and stretch marks. I wonder if it was the same thing?

As far as the weight loss...I'd be interested in hearing about the results. I'm skeptical though, since it still is a fat after all. If ya start eating by spoonful and smearing it over your bread, buns, corn, (like my cousin Bobbie who put a pat of butter on each bite of corn on the cob....can you say OBESE???) potatoes, popcorn, ..... ....
