It occurred to me that because blood used for replacement in hospitals aren't checked for so many things that we should ask how many people might have had one or more prior to developing Morgellons or even Lyme. Not saying it's the cause, but could be how some people might have contracted it. Kritts Last edited by Kritters; August 8th, 2009 at 11:14 PM.

Kritters - I know a couple who both have this. She had two surgeries, close together, and when they removed the bandages holding tubes in place after the second one (kidneys), I guess there was all kinds of "crap" at the site. She developed Morgellons signs & symptoms within hours. Her husband did not have it. For many months there was no problem. H is a diabetic and he checked W's blood sugar level one day. The next day he checked his own (on his abdomen) and forgot to change out the needle. Within a very short period of time, he developed M as well, starting on his abdomen. This is a couple in our support group. On the other hand, I know two women who gave birth to a child while they had M. One child is now 4 and the other is 6. Neither child have any signs of it. The more we know the less we know it seems. SS

Hey SSweetie, Thanks for your input! I agree that the more we know it seems the less we know, but I think that's because we just haven't figured out how the pieces fit together. The more information we have, the the better chance of putting the puzzle together. for instance, the two parents who evidently contracted "M" from blood transfusions in the hospital tell that a) It can be passed on through transfusions b) it's in the blood (at least) and the fact that neither children show signs yet shows that a) there is a possible immunity b) it might not have been activated during the birth process c) the mother's immune system (which is always stronger during pregnancy) might have triggered and killed it during that time, and c) the babies might have lacked the component(s) the (other) triggers (might not have been passed in dna or blood) such as herpes, or a necessary protein, or mycoplasma fermentans, or one or more of the metals.....or could it be in the air already surrounding where the puncture of the skin is...topically? why do nurses, who are often in hospitals, get this more than any other occupation besides teachers? (supposedly) This is why a COMPREHENSIVE QUESTIONAIRE is needed to help find and put the pieces together. But it's not likely to happen on this forum, unfortunately. It's actually at the point now that I might have to do this they way they did in the stone age and have people pm me with the results and do the old ballot box. It might be one or two key similarities that we ALL share, or at least we could categorize symptoms and origins to work on specific remedies, you know? I don't believe we all have the same thing, but some different things are perhaps manifesting themselves the same way. I'm more interested in how many people DO think they contracted this through transfusions than who did not. lover ya, Kritts

SS~ Especially concise and revealing examples as you just gave are very valuable. When people can pinpoint with CERTAINTY (not speculation) when they began with the telling signs will be key I think in helping to determine the causes(s) xoKritts

There is NO possible way that these children DO NOT HAVE THE VECTOR FOR THIS DISEASE. If I had a moment with the children, or was in fact allowed to look at them after birth. I could point out the things on the skin that doctors call NORMAL, keratosis, cradle cap, pimples, raised tiny brown spots (look like moles but they are NOT) this is just to name a few. My child had keratosis. The doctor said, thats very normal, it went away. Her skin is almost peaches and cream BUT there are other indicators and soon enough she is already spouting health issues needs some attitude adjustment drugs. Many of these parents and their doctors say and the parents want to hear, everything is FINE. I am sorry it is not FINE. Skin conditions of any kind means there is a invasion of some kind NO matter how small. I remember back as a kid my friends mother had been without a man for many YEARS, she was left holding the bag by her husband. It was probably about 4 or 5 years she got a B/F, soon after I heard her exclaim, You know its funny I never had acne as a child, not even when I was a teenager and now I have them all over. Do you think she just all of a sudden got a pimples from the air, NO she was copulating with a man infected. Its nice having the BEST long term memory, things do relate. This condition did right itself on her skin BUT she is a very ill woman now she has a list of our problems, minus the lesions. It would be my understanding that what she got was this malady in a stronger form, she probably had a form of this eternal invader already that had been rendered useless by millions of years fighting the different slowly mutating forms of it, mans body now can not keep up with this new form. In my mind it was not untill she met a man that had been subjected to the new (advanced by antibiotics) strain and her body's defence could just not finish it off. With morality at a all time low it shall continue to advance as has, SUPER STRAIN TB, SUPER STRAIN MRSA and every other disease that they treat in the body as they use antibiotic. It may not be evident to most of you or doctors but when you take drugs you just do not TARGET one disease, you give a blanket treatment to EVERY, VIRUS, FUNGUS, BACTERIA, PARASITE and any other invader that just happens to reside in your body. The most relevant situations is when you are suposedly susceptable to disease BECAUSE of your DNA, maybe just maybe the DNA is showing that your family tree has been fighting a illness and your family transmits disease every time they give birth, invadedr for centurys, and the invader lives inside every child born to this family or has the invader adapted the DNA to allow it free rein????? Impossible , NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE!!! Last edited by Baraka Obam; August 9th, 2009 at 09:44 AM.

Hi Krittsi, a very interesting thought you have here! I've never had blood transfusions that I KNOW of....I am saying this because I had four surgeries and almost died two times . I passed out...once after losing a lot of blood...and the second time was after the narcotics. The doc's had to use the defibrillator in order to 'bring' me back...so..who knows what they did while I was 'gone'...hmm...not to mention all the plastic tubes that were used and medical instruments while surgery... Maybe you are right...and Sadsacks post also leads to the theory there could be a connection? We know IT is in the blood! so...I have to vote 'no'? Kat

Kat, Logic tells me you should vote YES. If you almost died because of lack of blood, the FIRST thing they would do is give you some!!! Just because they didn't TELL you, doesn't mean they didn't. They HAD to give you a transfusion!!1 xoxoKritts

Hey BOFL! I agree with you. Something has possibly not triggered any (OBVIOUS) symptoms, yet they could still show them later. This, I think, is a significant part of the puzzle. WHAT triggers OBVIOUS symptoms in people while the pathogen(s) lie dormant in others until later? There are so many things but if we had a polling attached to this forum (very easily done and FREE I just found out) we could get closer to answers. Right now, we have such a sporadic and loose way of finding out similarities, it will take much longer to find out what they are. Hope you're doing well and feeling better (and gaining weight). xoxoKritts
