Thank you Kammy for creating this post! There is a definite need and I'm sorry that I haven't created one sooner, but I'm very ill passing these slugs! They have been coming out in my stool now for over 2 years...no one (medical personnel) will take it seriously; I've been to Infectious Disease docs, several different ERs, and no one will believe what they're seeing, even when they are looking at a specimen more than 1 1/2" long and 1/2" wide! They keep telling me it looks like mushrooms!!! When a slug dies, it will lie on its side, instead of being rounded at the top as usual...this gives them the perception that it is not a slug! They don't want to believe that it's a slug!

Yesterday, I put out more than 50 black slugs/snails in varying stages of development! Some were very large...when I can I am trying to dissect them, photograph them, and I will post as soon as I can. Anyone else that has these symptoms can PM me at any time or post on this thread. I will keep a vigil here so that others are not frightened like I was initially. Those photos on the thread that Kammy mentions above, are my specimens! You can see how large they are and they were photographed at just 10X. I know this is just about as disgusting as you can get, but we need to be vigilant and watch what comes out of our bodies. This is so necessary so that we can see how these specimens differ from each other, or even if they DO differ! Slugs are the most prevalent agricultural nightmare to growers of corn...cotton...soy...I think you get the idea? It even attacks GMO produce!

So, PLEASE don't be ashamed or scared...I know you will be at first, but I've gotten way beyond that point now. I just want to find a way for all of us to rid our bodies of these critters! In that effort I have contacted Animal Planet and have sent off an email to one of the participants on the show. I also spoke directly with an aide at the university and she is passing the info to others to see if anyone's ever heard of anything quite like this. She said that she has not heard of this before....and she works with this department that is associated with The Monsters Inside Me show. Will certainly let everyone know as soon as I get any further info on this.

Thank you Kammy for starting this thread. Yesterday I found a thread on this site discussing a snail like organisim and I immediatly emailed Kammy because I had samples that looked exactly the same. It is difficult to say exactly when I contracted Morgellons, but it has been close to 10 years, if not longer. Over the past 3 -4 months I have become very ill, to a point I had a home PICC line (IV antibiotics attached 24/7) and my fatigue, nausea/vomiting, cramping, belly distended and large 1"-2" snail like slugs in my stool is beyond what I have ever experienced with this disease. I have all the lesions and one very large one on my right cheek extending to my right eye and over to my nose that has been there over a year. Finally with DSP it is starting to go away, but the lesions are not the worst part for me at this point. Don't get me wrong... they were for a long time, but recently I have felt that I am knocking on deaths door... I have drawn a will (which at 34 was not top priority a few months ago). I will fight to the end to find a cure, but honestly have never felt so defeted by my body.

To be quite frank, I was ashamed and embrassed to post about some of my symptoms because I was not reading about them on any boards, until I ran across Kammy's thread about the "snail" this confirmed I was not losing my mind and validated much of what I have been experiencing over the past few months as this disease seems to be spiraling out of control.

I am going to cut and past a symptoms list I have been keeping the past few months -due to my memory not cooperating. I have found keeping track of new symptoms in a journal is easier and more accurate. I hope those who have advanced or unusal symptoms will post them here so we can learn and support each other.

Have been to 4 dermatologist, 2 General Practitioners, 1 ER visit, dentist and infectious disease doctor. No answer


Symptoms
Lesions Face – feels like biting or stinging (2nd or 3rd area infected) has been biopsied and returned
Large lump on back of head/neck – has been biopsied – no cancer and came back with a vengeance and increased all symptoms after they biopsied.
Lesions Arm (4th place infected) Left arm has a large lump kind of like back of my neck now.
Lesions Chest (1st area infected I think)
Lesions Buttocks (1st or 2nd area infected)
Lesions foot (hands and feet have been the last places infected)
Lesions Hand (hands and feet have been the last places infected)
Veins in arms larger and more pronounced – mom asked why my arms look like this?
Thin hard translucent red rod like streak on face moves from nose to cheek to lip corner
Black sand like specs on skin (thought was dirt at first but now it just appears no matter where I am or what I am doing)
Confusion and hard to concentrate – difficulty organizing my thoughts (something I was very good at prior to this)
Pressure in my jaw in the morning feels like if I move my mouth I might break the right side of my jaw. – 7/17/09 this symptom is gone.
Eye twitching = Eye Floaters
Foot wiggles even in my sleep – husband can’t sleep in same bed it bothers him so much and I don’t even know its happening.
Agitated at times for no reason with a short temper and no libido. Can be in a great mood and suddenly become so agitated that I almost hyperventilate without any trigger of stress. With stress all symptoms worsen ten-fold.
Patterns seem to be every 3 -4weeks with a massive outbreak then begin to see results with treatment and back to outbreak again. Each outbreak or flare-up gets worse with increased symptoms.
Extreme fatigue (last 3 months May and July ‘09) last 2 weeks has been most sever normally up by 6am and having hard time moving by 9:30am.
Extremely Sensitive to bright lights (was driving and could not keep one of my eyes open it kept closing and oozing)
Blurry vision at times never in both eyes at the same time but have experienced in each eye.
Eyes become bloodshot for no reason (indoors at work with no irritant) I look like I’m on drugs this is getting increasingly worse.
Something floated across my eye looked like very small worm (only happened once)
Skin color fluctuates from very dark to very red to normal or blotch normal sometimes pasty feel to skin (primarily upper extremities and face)
Hairs on my arms seem to have increased and stand-up (like if you created static electricity and ran it across your arm)
Feet, from toes to about halfway up my foot turning black – when this happens it is typically accompanied by a bad cramp and then numbness
Sensation of something in my mouth/bad taste is better with gargling hydrogen peroxide and oral Nastin
Fungus coating tongue still there with V-fend, and oral nastin
Healthy Teeth breaking when not eating just speaking (was at a meeting and my tooth just broke in half) have had serious oral problems since beginning. Feels like something is moving under my right back tooth.

Deep lines in my tongue that won’t heal? Update

7/17/09 some days little lines but today 2 deep gouges tounge really hurts and swollen.

Lips crack and very dry some days then other days are fine can see something moving in and out of the corner right side of mouth and lips

Swollen hands and feet every morning my face is swollen much of the time also. The days where facial swelling resides I have had people tell me I look like I have lost 15lbs and I have not lost any weight.

Some type of film over my toe nails very hard substance and underneath toenails – very very difficult to cut toe nails

May 2004 I had major pain in my tooth went to dentist on a Thursday and he took xray said there was no infection but went ahead and gave me a antibiotic and pain pill. On Friday called the dentist back because my face on the right side was swelling pain was increasing where pain meds were not alleviating the pain at all. He advised to stay the course so I did. By Sunday my entire right side of my face had swollen so much that I could not see out of my right eye and was in excruciating pain. He advised I go to the ER which I did they saw an abscess in my gum at the rear of my mouth right side (which was not there on Thursday) They gave me IV drip of pain med and antibiotics and drained the abscess. This worked and no other dental work was performed. After this event I began getting what I thought was deep acne but presented more like, what I know now, is a lesion.

Migraine type headaches. Massive

Ear pain until something broke through the skin then immediately went away.
Cravings for sweets has significantly increased (I am trying to stay away from sugar it seems to aggravate symptoms as does stress)

Muscle cramps in feet and legs sometimes for hours where hot water, walking etc.. does not release the cramp (does not feel like traditional Charlie horse) The pain is much stronger and typically happens right after I lay down to go to bed.

Joint pain in my right knee, ankle and wrist feels like if I put weight on ankle it will snap

My blood pressure has continued to increase with a normal range for me now being around 137/93 was just a couple of months ago 120/80 consistently (was seeing weight loss doctor who took blood pressure monthly) Now I was seeing doctor every 2 weeks and blood pressure has not been normal in over
2 months – ever since I went into the ER complaining of shortness of breath and chest pains.

Previous seizures 6 in last 2 years with more auroras where I can stop the seizure (had not had seizures for over 4 years prior to 2 years ago) Was diagnosed with epilepsy 12 years ago (no explainable reason except possible side effect of bad car accident) Took Dilantin for approximately 5 years with no seizures. Stopped Dilantin and continued seizure free. Began having seizures again 2 years ago when was under incredible stress many of my symptoms also began at this same time.
Normal blood work showing consistent reduction in protein levels and elevated glucose levels.

7/6/09 dry cough that wont go away - had to leave bosses office during meeting

7/7/09 – symptoms getting worse – feel heavy pressure and movement in abdomen (from above pelvis upward) (doubled over) Vomiting past 3 days (stringy things worm-looking with white thick mucus or bile coating) – lesions increasing all over body – feels like I am dying – hard to hear out of my left ear and my voice keeps coming and going over last 4 days. My heart has suddenly begun racing and will stop as quickly as it started.

7/10/09 – My voice will come and go mid-sentence – very nerve racking – have to strain to speak. Large lump in the roof of mouth and still on right check. Good news is right cheek lesion is getting better with the DSP. Guess I should get some of my own – reminder to ask where to get…

7/14/09 – Tongue has the white coating again (Yeast/fungus I’m sure) but it is very swollen and painful. Can’t eat because when I chew I think the white tear shaped larva like things is attaching to the food and coming off in like lots and lots of little white hard balls. Even after I put the sandwich down this stuff was coming out of my mouth.

7/15/09 had to stop on way to work side of hwy to vomit. Threw up multiple times today.

7/16/09 – can’t fit into any of my pants my stomach looks like I am pregnant (just menstruated can’t be – much less no sex so…) – stomach making crazy noises

7/16/09 – throwing up – doubled over in pain – feel something large in abdomen – really hurts!!! Red raised line (1” wide and 3-4” long in abdomen with a large red raised dot (looks like spider bite) near belly button – either the front or back of the raised red line.

7/17/09 – Thank god the stomach has gone down quite a bit but have awful burps and gas. Husband made comment that he has noticed how seldom I urinate and was wondering what I was doing different. I use to urinate very frequently and multiple times a night, now I go only a couple of times a day. Maybe due to mouth hurting - There is a new nickel size lump on the left side of my belly button – does not hurt.

7/17/09 freaked out today and made my husband take my 4yr old son Jackson to his brothers – convinced the house was infested with worms (I look back now and it is a blur I went nuts – dumped borax on every surface – washed all clothes using bathtub, sink and washing machine) I have never had anxiety like this in my life - I was a crazy person!

7/18/09 used hydro peroxide for mouthwash and tongue scrapper tons of thick bile and reddish brown (don’t think was blood tongue not bleeding) used illuminated mirror to look at the left back tooth and there is a huge black with brown slimy worm it will poke down and try to suction the mirror

7/19/09 – My stool had the largest slug (blackish grey with green like dots 1”-2” length don’t think was the entire organism) this scares me!!!!

7/20/09 more slug in stool (took samples 3 not sure how to collect) one smaller snail looking thing when put in container with water was alive – stayed alive over 5 hrs – moved and bubbles (don’t know what to do – can’t be good) – smell is like ammonia

7/27/09 my toes are swelling again was up all last night with foot twitching (I guess what they refer to as restless leg syndrome 4am took cold medicine 4 tbs to put me to sleep)

7/28 the lesion on my face is coming back in full force. New lesions down right side of arm. Organism in teeth layers of my lips and mucous membrane in mouth sloughing off (looks like what is in my nose almost like a snake shedding skin hard to describe) Lots of crawling in nose today. Lips are chapped again I look dehydrated but I’m not.

THANK YOU! You are not alone with these slugs! I'm here....let's compare notes and see what the similarities are...you can PM me and then we can decide how to go about this and then report back to anyone else who has this problem.

I am so glad that you have responded! Thank you, Kammy again....this was much needed, yet I was hesitant to post my pix of the slugs because "way back when, those in the know, said not to do that for fear that folks would get scared"! YES! We are scared! We're scared because we don't know what this is! It is NOT just a thread disease, and by the way, slugs/snails produce THREADS in their slime for traction. I've seen it with my own two eyes, and yes, they do look like ours!!! I have collected slugs/snails from my back yard and kept them confined and collected their specimens and have found many interesting correlations with what is coming out of my body!!! I've sliced and diced them too.....looking for a common denominator. There will be one I am certain. I just have to keep looking.

PLEASE post your pix, thoughts and experiences if you have these strange creatures...we need to see how many folks do have this, because this is not normal in any sense of the word!!! Someone is responsible for this! This just doesn't happen by itself!!!

Kammy - I have looked at the Activated Charcoal at the sunflower shop here but was scared to try - will it induce vomiting? I have recently completed my first para rid and am going today to get more given what the snails and slug things that came out of me. I am finding that clove is VERY helpful along with Garlic. Another helpful and unpleasant remedy I have been using recently is Braggs apple vinegar in water.

I would highly recommend for those who are just showing signs of Morgellons to do remain rigid on an antiparasite regimine. I am not a doctor but I think if I had done this sooner I would not be where I am today. Although I am bigger than a 2" slug and think I can win the war even if it wins a few battles

I have only rinsed with salt water have not tried to digest.

Hi Barb, I was going to send you a PM, but thought that if I have these questions others might also. If you are ok with sharing please do or PM me.

I have samples but I am not sure what the best way to preseve them so that they retain the best properties for scientist and doctors to examine? I had one sample and emailed scientist and doctors across the country a couple of weeks ago becasue it was alive - moving, breathing and looked like a cross between a slug and snail (more so like a snail) the head had 2 antena like things and looked like I could have found it in my backyard. I was horrified and terrified but noone responded and now it's in a container but does not look the same as when it was moving.

Please let me know how you collect your samples and how you preserve them. I will take photos and upload soon. Also are you taking any specific detox or antiparasite meds/supplements.
