| Discovery Health channel, This was a case of a woman being infected or having been infected lately by herpies 1 people usualy get this as a child from contact with other children,THEY SAY, and UNLIKELY. I think they are born with it anyway, she had the lesions open up all over her body. The doctor thinks they spread, spread as a systemic disease in TWO WEEKS, also doubtful. The one thing that really did puzzel her was, why did a disease that is usually an oral disease, become systemic and kill in two weeks. I am starting to believe, the stuff I found forming in the blood TRANSPORTS any disease all over the body thru the forming tubes or formed tubes. What she was seeing on the skin was these predeveloped lesions opening on the skin. The woman was given a dose of antibiotics befroe her death, the catalist to many people here having the lesions open. The herpies had attacted her liver and destroyed it. There is just one question what came first the chicken or the egg. I am most certain that the herpies had already spread and the lesions I saw were classic, white plastic centers, and red caviar like material. This woman said a man bit her lip when she was kissing him in the bar, open wound coupled with saliva, hmmmmmmmmmmmm, interesting. This show I am talking about is on right now. I do believe it is the discovery channel. She also had her teeth falling out, some I talk with have also mentioned this, loose teeth!!!!! I want this woman to do me, do me baby, THAT IS............... when I croak, do my autopsy. She is in Orlando Florida, I think!! I will also contact her if I can and show her my blood under scope, I wish I would have some yellow goo thouh it is much more fantastic to display the tubes building go CRAZY |

| Herpes Simplex 1 and Dr. G: Medical Examiner, Discovery Health At first this ME thought the young woman had died of chicken pox. Lesions were all over her body (unexpected by the ME from the hospital's report which merely said something about sores on her face) which indicated a herpes type of infection, pattern wise. Her liver had failed as the infection had infiltrated it so much that it became enlarged and no longer worked. This was ultimately the cause of death, but what intrigued the ME was the fact that this was not caused by Varicella (the herpes virus which causes chicken pox and shinles), but by herpes simplex 1, the type which causes cold sores. The young woman herself had reported that she felt the infection came from a kiss from a person she met in a bar. This man had apparently bitten her. The ME looked for a bite but found no evidence of this on the young woman. So she put that aside, at least for the time being. This virus had so overwhelmed the young woman's body that her teeth were loose and the mucosa inside the mouth was sloughing off. ** Above- an excerpt from: Herpes Simplex 1 and Dr. G: Medical Examiner, Discovery Health Why this happened: Ionizing Radiation Activates Late Herpes Simplex Virus 1 Promoters via the p38 Pathway in Tumors Treated with Oncolytic Viruses -- Mezhir et al. 65 (20): 9479 -- Cancer Research Ionizing Radiation Activates Late Herpes Simplex Virus 1 Promoters via the p38 Pathway in Tumors Treated with Oncolytic Viruses Easier to understand: Inhibition of DNA Repair by a Herpes Simplex Virus Vector Enhances the Radiosensitivity of Human Glioblastoma Cells -- Hadjipanayis and DeLuca 65 (12): 5310 -- Cancer Research Inhibition of DNA Repair by a Herpes Simplex Virus Vector Enhances the Radiosensitivity of Human Glioblastoma Cells Excerpt: Expression of the herpes simplex virus (HSV) protein, ICP0, from the viral genome, rendered two radioresistant human glioblastoma multiforme cell lines more sensitive to the effects of ionizing radiation end excerpt Last edited by Venetia; July 16th, 2009 at 10:05 AM. |

| This might be slightly diverting topic, but I remember wondering years ago why they can't cure herpes. Now, with the advent of recombinant DNA, it should be a stroll through the lab, I'd think. Kritts |

| It appears that HSV-1 may be somewhat protective in some types of cancer development: Elsevier "Head and neck cancer associated with herpes simplex virus 1 and 2 and other risk factors Tina M. Parkera, Elaine M. SmithacCorresponding Author Informationemail address, Justine M. Ritchieb, Thomas H. Haugend, Vladimir Vonkae, Lu ir P. Turekd, Eva HamsikovaeReceived 3 August 2005; accepted 5 August 2005. Summary We investigated whether herpes simplex viruses, HSV-1 and HSV-2, are cofactors of head and neck cancer (HNC) in association with tobacco, alcohol, or HPV-16 infection. The study included 164 HNC cases and 295 controls. Serologic tests were used to distinguish HSV-1 and HSV-2. Antibodies to anti-VLP HPV-16 and HPV-16 E6 and E7 were evaluated by ELISA. After adjusting for age, tobacco, alcohol use, and number of sexual partners, risk of cancer was not significantly increased in those with HSV-1 [adjusted odds ratio (OR)=0.7] or HSV-2 (OR=0. compared to HSV-negative patients. Although heavy use of tobacco, alcohol and HPV-16 infection was associated with an increased risk of HNC, the adjusted risk among those infected with HSV-1 or HSV-2 lowered the odds compared to those who were not infected. Heavy smokers (OR=1.7) and heavy drinkers infected with HSV-1 (OR=4.2) or HSV-2 (smokers: OR=1.6; drinkers: OR=3.2) had lower odds compared to seronegative HSV-1 heavy users (smokers: OR=2.5; drinkers: OR=5.5) or HSV-2 (smokers: OR=1.9; drinkers: OR=6.2). Those seropositive to HPV-16 E6 and/or E7 but not HSV-1 (OR=27.4) or HSV-2 (OR=18.0) had higher risk of HNC compared to those infected with HSV-1 (OR=16.7) or HSV-2 (not estimable). These findings suggest that seropositivity to HSV-1 and HSV-2, although not independent risk factors for HNC, may modify the risk of HNC associated with exposure to tobacco, alcohol, or HPV-HR."It sounds as if HSV-1 and 2 are somewhat protective of head and neck cancers. More on how HSV-1 may help to cure some cancers: Herpes virus homes in on cancer target | Science News | Find Articles at BNET Herpes virus homes in on cancer target Science News, July 21, 2001 by C. Schubert "A virus well known for the painful cold sores it causes is currently being tested as a treatment for patients' malignant tumors. New findings by researchers at the University of Calgary in Alberta show how the virus, herpes simplex virus 1 (HSV-1), does selective damage to cancerous tissue. That revelation could point researchers toward ways of exploiting HSV-1 to better fight cancer. A relative of the herpes virus that causes genital rashes, HSV-1 thrives in many types of cancer cells and can kill them. Patrick W. K. Lee and his group have discovered that the virus replicates most rapidly in cancer cells with particular mutations. Most RecentTechnology Articles Many tumors contain mutations in their genes that regulate cell growth. Mutations that make one of these, the Ras gene, hyperactive prompt cells to proliferate wildly. In the Aug. 1 NATURE CELL BIOLOGY, Lee's group shows that HSV-1 replicates unusually quickly in cells that have a hyperactive Ras gene. The researchers also show that such cancer cells crank up HSV-1 production by speeding up the manufacture of viral proteins. Lee notes that about 80 percent of tumors have Ras-activating mutations and thus might be susceptible to HSV-1. "In a sense, [this work] is a quantum leap in the field," says virologist David A. Leib of Washington University in St. Louis. Scientists had known that HSV-1 can destroy some tumor cells, he says, "but Lee's group is finally providing a mechanism" to explain those observations. The use of HSV-1 is proving safe as a cancer treatment in clinical trials. In these current experimental treatments, researchers use viruses genetically engineered to not replicate in normal tissue. This built-in limitation is critical for patients undergoing chemotherapy whose weakened immune system leaves them vulnerable to the virus. When scientists alter the viruses to make them safer, they also make them less effective against cancer cells. The new details about HSV-1's ability to grow explosively in certain cancer cells "increases the chance that we can make the viruses more specific and more potent for treating cancer," says Harvard neurosurgeon Robert L. Martuza. One way to enhance the virus' cancer-killing ability might be to apply drugs that increase the activity of Ras and thus promote viral replication, speculates Martuza, who is now conducting clinical trials using HSV-1 to treat brain tumors. He adds that researchers can already ascertain if a tumor has the kinds of defects in Ras that may make it conducive to the viral treatment. What's most exciting, says Lee, is that his team is promoting a general concept in cancer treatment. Two years ago, he and his coworkers showed that an unrelated virus also could elicit the death of cancer cells having an activated Ras gene. Many other viruses now under consideration for cancer treatments might work the same way, he says. Moreover, Lee says, his work could lead to new treatments for herpes infections. His study indicates that drugs that inactivate Ras seem to block HSV-1 replication in cells growing in the laboratory. Martuza finds this approach "speculative, but certainly a possibility." Lee says he now has preliminary evidence that such anti-Ras drugs also work in cells to fight the sexually transmitted virus, herpes simplex 2. While I do not see that HSV-1 causes cancer (at least in research I can find) some other viral infections apparently can cause cancer in some people. This next article links Epstein Barr virus to the start of cancer in vulnerable people (back to that ability of the immune system to protect against cancer and other diseases, the low NK cells in some people which lays them open to developing cancer). How virus causes cancer Scientists have discovered how the notorious Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) makes some people vulnerable to developing cancer. Around 90% of British adults are infected with EBV - but most come to no harm. However, in a small minority of cases the virus helps to trigger cancer. EBV has been linked to Hodgkin's disease, Burkitt's lymphoma, and nasopharyngeal cancer, as well as certain rare cancers in immunosupressed transplant patients. Now scientists from Cancer Research UK's Paterson Institute have discovered how the virus acts to increase the risk that cells will divide in the uncontrolled fashion typical of cancer. They hope the advance could lead to ways of protecting people from the effects of infection or treating patients with EBV-related cancers. The researchers focused on a gene called p16 which acts as a brake on cell growth and division. It was already known that EBV was able to inactivate the p16 braking system - but the way it did this was a mystery. Sabotaged brakes In the new study, the researchers tested the effects of EBV in human cells called fibroblasts. They found that the key was a molecule produced by the virus, known as LMP1. This molecule neutralises the p16 system, either by switching it off, or sabotaging its effectiveness. This leaves cells free to divide in an uncontrolled way, raising the risk of cancer. The researchers believe LMP1 may also have other, as yet undiscovered, effects that could also contribute to the development of cancer. Lead researcher Dr Eiji Hara said: 'Epstein-Barr Virus has a number of different cancer-promoting effects and it's important that we get to the bottom of how it works, so we may be able to find ways of treating or protecting people. 'We think we've found the virus's central cancer trigger, but we've still got a way to go in understanding exactly how the trigger works - it looks as if it may have a few more tricks up its sleeve.' Professor Robert Souhami, director of clinical research for Cancer Research UK, said: 'Around 15-20% of all cancers are caused by viruses, so it's vital that we get a better handle on the role of viral infection. 'By teasing out the details, we should eventually put ourselves in a position where we have improved treatments for viral cancers and perhaps effective methods of prevention.' The research is published in the Journal of Cell Biology." Here is something that an HSV-1 infection can do to someone who has cancer: Herpes Simplex "HSV can be life-threatening to a person who has cancer, an individual with AIDS, a person who has had an organ transplant, or anyone who has some other major illness, because their immunity to infection has been reduced." What was interesting about the woman who had HSV-1 overwhelm her body was her past history of cancer. Perhaps this more than anything made her vulnerable to having her body overwhelmed by the HSV-1 virus which no doubt came from that man who had an active outbreak of the virus in his saliva. As we all know cold sores come and go throughout life, but in this case that kiss and bite proved deadly to this woman as her partner had an active outbreak.

| Get yaself down there Barak and offer this woman your body,( purely for test purposes )let her loose on the lesions,at least you'll be able to answer any questions she has which will make a change for her from her normal clientele. This could be your big chance.

| If you see what happened to this woman, the lesions, they are the SAME as happened to me. I opened them up and killed them off one by one, hardly nothing touched them BUT after a term they are under control. Want to see really how big one of these underskin monsters get My whole are was covered by them, 2 inch by 3 inch and deep REAL DEEP. They were just little tiny blood spots untill it attacked my nervous system. Fibra mialga and carple tunnel, hit in days from me treating one with over the counter antibiotics. The writing is on the wall, bugs, I do not think so, just like the Medical examiner said, and I have always said, IT IS SYSTEMIC, HOW DID THIS HAPPEN. Oh yeah and the Medical examiner also mentioned antibiotics do nothing for herpies, nothing but make them bloom and get stronger from the irritation! |

| So basically, the reason they won't cure herpes is because it promotes cancer. People will meet their maker one day. It's called the day of judgement by biblicans. I call it...payback is a *****. Kritts |

| This little demond does more than cause cancer cancer is usually the end result BUT NOW we are seeing children with adult disease, gotta wonder WHY, how does this monster work. I have seen it or its helper in the blood the black muck |

| Baraka, I agree with what you are saying- it's in the blood, there is no doubt. It's systemic- absolutely. Found another thread of yours today- where you were stating that we have BEEN consuming Melamine right along and it's not just the Chinese but US corporations as well that are using the Melamine in products where humans are the end users- you are 100% right about that also. I've documented those facts as well. One company that produces animal pellets not only uses/used the Melamine but also urea formaldehyde in the animal pellets. That combination = Plastic under the right conditions. Those pellets went into Cattle, Sheep, Goats, fish, shrimp and more. We consumed the animals that contained the mix. So what happens when we heat/cook the fish or the beef or the lamb chop ??? The Melamine and the urea formaldehyde DO become Plastic and we consume it. Add a few chemicals from our water that is laden with all manner of pollution - VOCs - remediation products and a host of other unlovely substances and it's a wonder we are still walking around. I really believe that the only substance that is universal- Worldwide (since 1986 Chernobyl accident) is the effects of the Fallout- Radiation. Boomers have the Rads in their teeth, bones and Thyroid gland. The Thyroid Gland 'catches' the Isotopes such as the Strontium 90 (from the Nuclear testing). That is the reason for the bad teeth- arthritis and aching bones- the body uses the Strontium as it would calcium and distributes it to teeth and bones- therefore we have brittle teeth and bones. Also why so many have Thyroid conditions and there are so many obese people in this country/world. It goes one way or the other- Hypothyroid (overweight/fatigued) or Hyperthyroid (overactive/underweight). It is a proven fact that Radiation or 'Fallout' from the Nuclear tests that have gone on for over 50 years (worldwide) CAUSE Thyroid issues which, in turn, cause reduced body or Basal Body Temperature. Same Thyroid issues that Harvey, et al, found in those in the 'Study'. That proves to me that 'Morgellons sufferers' have radiation effected Thyroid glands. Strontium is found in childrens' teeth (baby teeth). It is passed on- mother/child. The radiation, that is. That is what is causing the strange effects in our bodies (fibers/tubes) along with the rest of the above mentioned- Treating with remedies as they did in Chernobyl- after the accident would be wise.
