| Here is what I think about why Morgellons and Lyme often occur in the same person: The nematodes (C.Elegans, Heterorhabditis, Steinernema) can be used to control ticks. Sometimes they are put down for that specific purpose. ScienceDirect - Trends in Parasitology : Entomopathogenic nematodes for the biocontrol of ticks Interaction of Entomopathogenic nematodes (Steinernematidae) with selected species of ixodid ticks (Acari : Ixodidae) Even is they weren't put down to kill ticks, once these predatory nematodes find a tick they attack it. If you happen to be the unlucky one to get bit by a tick who is infested with a nematode, then that nematode gets into you. So - you then have The bacteria that was in the tick. The nematode. The bacteria that was in the nematode. The fungus that was in the nematode . SO YOU HAVE MORGELLONS AND YOU HAVE LYME TOO. The tick had the nematode and the fungus arthrobotrys in it. Why would a nematode have a fungus? Because the fungus Arthrobotrys is put down on farms (look out those who live on or near farms, cattle, horses, etc.) - they put this predatory fungus down on farms to control the worms (nematodes) that like to live in the cattle and horse feces. ScienceDirect - Soil Biology and Biochemistry : Strong bottom-up and weak top-down effects in soil: nematode-parasitized insects and nematode-trapping fungi Several posters here said they lived near cattle or horses. There's your explanation. There's plenty of nematodes around other places too. By the way, the nematode carries the fungus in it because it didn't quite get killed by the fungus but got enough of it in its body to become a CARRIER. Nightmare. sar Last edited by sarothra; July 6th, 2009 at 12:50 AM. |

| I wonder... When I was a kid in Minnesota, we would go to the cabin in the summer. My cousins and I would literally pull off like 5-10 ticks every night! One time when I was about 13, I pulled a tick off the back of my head and that sore on the back of my head lasted the whole rest of the summer! And it irritated me all the time. I didn't even tell my mom, because I knew I wasn't supposed to just yank it out like that, but when I felt a tick attached to my scalp I just couldn't help it! Maybe that's when this whole thing started for me. |
