Wow, Posey.... I have seen that in so many places. Actually when I saw that one they said a poster referred to as cherry cobler, I was thinking more of blueberry pie. I remember we used to use licorice root mulch and I saw that fungus all the time. Now, I'm seeing the whitish, filamentous fungi on the marshes all over the place on the bay. I saw it the other day and was shocked. Kritts

But under the scope a possible Physarum polycephalum.... Haven't we been talking about this? Where the heck are Kammy, Katinks and Saro???? Yello???? I'm going to look up licorice root mulch. That's what's under the 'wood chips' and I'd like to know if it's imported. I'll get back to you. xoxoKritts

Hey Kritts! It's Kat here, That stuff looks exactly like I had on my feet a while back...never showed again..hmm... I was looking around and found this...The Fiber Disease - Biology-Online Bacillus amyloliquefaciens Bacillus amyloliquefaciens is a species of bacteria that is the source of the BamH1 restriction enzyme. It also synthesizes a natural antibiotic protein barnase, a widely studied ribonuclease that forms a famously tight complex with its intracellular inhibitor barstar. B. amyloliquefaciens was discovered in soil 1943 by a Japanese scientist named Fukumoto, who gave the bacterium its name because it produced (faciens) a liquifying (lique) amylase (amylo). Amylase The pancreas also makes amylase (alpha amylase) to hydrolyse dietary starch into di- and trisaccharides which are converted by other enzymes to glucose to supply the body with energy. Plants and some bacteria also produce amylase. I'm thinking about Diabetes? Kat
