Default chrysosporium

anyone has any information on this fungus, please post, i like to discuss, my dog's vet identified this fungus as his condition, me and my dog has been suffuring for 5 years now, this fungus seems associated with agrobactrium, gm pesticide, and gm cotton is treated with this fungus, this fungus is filamentus, and create crystal like conida, at the beginning i thought i had aspegillos mold and toxic black mold exposure, but now this fungus is cultured, I had collembola, midges, bird mites, ants, all sort of plant based insects during 5 years, i believe it is due to this fungi attracting those insects,

Default relation to cellulose

Hi Buddy,

So sorry that you and your dog have been having such a hard time. Do you also suffer Morgellons symptoms?

I spent a few minutes reading about this fungus, and found it interesting because of its relationship to cellulose, in that it breaks down the lignan in wood, leaving the cellulose intact. Cellulose is a hot topic on this forum these days. Also, there is reference below to association with certain agrobacterium, which has also been discussed recently.

This particular article also claims that it is not a known pathogen of humans or animals, which, of course seems always to be the case, and your diagnosis proves incorrect.

Phanerochaete chrysosporium

Description and significance
Phanerochaete chrysosporium is the model white rot fungus because of its specialized ability to degrade the abundant aromatic polymer lignin, while leaving the white cellulose nearly untouched. Phanerochaete chrysosporium releases extracellular enzymes to break-up the complex three-dimensional structure of lignin into components that can be utilized by its metabolism. The extracellular enzymes are non-specific oxidizing agents (hydrogen peroxide, hydroxyl radicals) used to cleave the lignin bonds. [3]

Due to Phanerochaete chrysoporium specialized degradation abilities, extensive research is seeking ways to understand the mechanism in order to enhance the bioremediation of a diverse range of pollutants. Therefore, Phanerochaete chrysosporium is the first member of the Basidiomycetes to have its complete genome sequenced. [6]

Genome structure
Phanerochaete chrysoporium's genome consists of approximately 29.6-million base pairs arranged in ten linear chromosomes [6]. Genomic analysis provides structural, comparative, and functional information about the organisms.

P. chrysoporium’s importance in the field of biotechnology lead to the analysis P450 monooxygenase genes to provide information about the complex protein interactions and distinct components involved in the production of the polyaromatic degrading extracellular enzyme. In the P450 genes, microexons were detected to suggest the mechanisms of alternative splicing during transcription, which may explain this organism’s evolution of diverse metabolic activity. [7]

Cell structure and metabolism
Phanerochaete chrysosporium is a crust fungi, which forms flat fused reproductive fruiting bodies instead of the mushroom structure. This fungi exhibit an interesting pattern of septate hyphae, giving a stronger line of defense in times of distress. The hyphae network has some branching, with diameters ranging from 3-9 µm. At the ends of the hyphae rests chlamydospores, thick-walled spores varying from 50-60 µm. The conidiophore gives rise to round asexual blastoconidia, which are 6-9 µm in diameter. [1,2]

Degradation of lignin and polutants is made possible by the production of extracellular enzymes. Components such as lignin peroxidase and manganese peroxidase take part in the remediation of various pesticides, polyaromatic hydrocarbons, PCBs, TNT, carbon tetrachloride and various poisons. [8]

Metabolism of Lignin
Reseach in the degradation of lignin has resulted in numerous substituted benzene ring products. An important catalyst in these reactions are phenol-oxidizing enzymes. [9]

The process of lignin breakdown is carried out by means of cleavage reactions. These extracellular enzymes release free-radicals to initiate spontaneious break down to phenyl propane units in the Secondary metablism or stationary phase. [8]

Ecology
Due to Phanerochaete chrysosporium sustainability at moderate to higher temperatures, specifically 40 degrees celcius, this white-rot fungus can be found in forests ranging from North America, to areas of Europe and in Iran. [4] A main role it assumes is that of degradation of the complex lignin from various trees and plants. This process reduces lignin into less complex molecules, maintaining the cycle of the decomposer of plants.

Recent studies have revealed an association of a certain bacteria found in conjunction with this strain of fungi. Agrobacterium radiobacter was isolated as coexisting with the fungi, and very difficult to separate. [5] Discovery of how bacteria and fungi affect each other physiologically is yet to be conclusive, but further research could give further evidence of mutualism, and its affect on bioremdiation.

Pathology
Phanerochaete chrysosporium is a saprophytic fungus capable of organic breakdown of the woody part of dead plants. Therefore, plants that are in the process of dieing or dead serve as an optimal substrate for P. chrysosporium. Symptoms may include white patches of cellulose due to the disappearance of lignin from the plant structure.

This fungus is not a known pathogen of humans or animals.

Application to Biotechnology
Not only is Phanerochaete chrysosporium useful because of its biodegradation of harmful chemicals by means of extracellular enzymes, its ability to leave pure white cellulose has been important in the industry of paper. Biopulping would cut out the use of machines to remove brown lignin, which this fungi does naturally, all the while bleaching the cellulose left behind that goes into the mass production of paper. Incorporation of this natural alternative would limit the amount of pollution produced by machines previously designed for this very job, and also decrease the amount of chemicals used for the bleaching of paper. [11] Some limitations to the use of P. chrysosporium in the biopulping industry include the fact that pulp is a relatively low value product and aerating the fungi may be expensive, many fungi have low growth rates, and large wood chips are resistant to diffusion [12

Default If it has to do with wood paper products just imagine its in our food and your dogs

I have no reservations that this pulp is added to foods, all kinds of food, anything that is ground up and put together.

I don't trust any food in packages ANYWHERE in the world.

Default Anti fungal treatment

i liked to discuss any one who had treatment with systematic anti-fungal drug ,
i have been taking anti-fungal for 2 month now, itraconazole, thinking i have aspegillosis, i am ready to take another month treatment of voriconazole,
for chrysosporium fungus, it seems i have toxic feeling to take all these anti-fungal, if anyone have experience with anti-fungal, please respond, somehow i think this fungus is one of the problem, i don't know this fungus cause the black dot and black hard bug looking fiber, this fungus is white rot crust turns brown, mostly mold or slime like condition, and from this slime mold back hard tread like organism is created, i ve seen lots of tiny fly hatching out of these cotton fiber balls in the begining of this ordeal, and there were hundred dead midges in my closet at the onset of this condition in my house, actually at the beginning, i think i had some organism were eating my clothes in my closet, i thought it was moths at first, then i found so many tiny flies were dead in my closet, now i know they were tiny midges, how they get in there?
i think they were there from the clothes i had been wearing, this thing land on your clothes from the contaminated air ( mold? or fly?) but these dead flies in the closet, in countless numbers, strange? when i moved these problem followed, these flies on my screen in numbers, to get into my house for whatever i am shedding, I reported this to california dept of agriculture for identification, mostly midges, and they told this bug will not be in the house, and do no harm to human, but these midges were hatching in the bowl of water in my house, and thes tiny fly did looked like what is falling out of my skin, with cellulose, i read article about gene engineered midges are created for bio pesticide, and this mold, fungus comes off our skin has algae like almost like green moss like texture in it, when you put this in water it is slimy, like algae, it has connection, this fly and the mold, i think we might be infected with this slime mold and tiny fly, which born from our clothing and our skin.

Default micro micro biting gnats and fungus

I agree with you, I have lots of gnats on the out side of my house, on my screens and windows trying to get into the house. But I have also have seen the tiny micro gnats dead on my window sills. I can feel them hitting my face, but so tiny and fly so fast, they are hard to see or catch. It takes a microscope to see that they have wings and are a gnat. The larvae are micro worm like and must be able to fly immediately. I can feel and hear them hatching popping in my hair at night. The lice comb does not always comb them out. But the MD's say they can't see anything, therefore we have DOP. After it rains I can feel them very active in my house, and go crazy with cleaning and vacuuming. I do keep fans in every room that seems to keep them being so active. I keep allergy filters in the air conditioning filter and change it often.

You must use a flashlight, with the house totally dark, to see them. I think they are the vector that carries fungus. Pest companies have said they can not treat for flying insects. These are so small they dissolve when you put them on tape.

Yya I think I got to the right place..very interesting posts. Have "M" 3 years..noticed it is eating this cheapo laminate from Costco..seems to dissolve paper products..or eat them at any rate...go for plastic laminate..the older stuff. Grout is awful too..and that fake stone ceramic tile..ugh
Good work I'll need to come back to it..when I can concentrate more...what is the antidote to this fungus? Regular pigeon fungi and bacteria are just terrible..when entrenched...let alone these new complex hybrids.
I just want to know how to get rid of it...when it has penetrated your skin and black stuff is coming out of your pores.

Hi, confused,
these fly are everywhere, you will see them in abundance in grass area by fresh water lake, continuousely hatching out of sewer line, i have been using fly zapper with water bowl underneath, you will not believe how much fly you can catch in the bowl, you will see newly hatched larve swiming in the bowl, it is like eggs are laid in the bowl, larve hatches, and they start recycling inside your house, some comes in from outside, but some hatches right out of your carpet or off your clothes, there is big problem in US, and so many people are infected with this fungus, lot of people does not know they have toxic mold, most of people thinks it is allergy, i think i have infected many people, this fly zapper is help to slow down the process of your house being contaminated, but eventually it will be, it just takes longer, use air purifier in everyroom, this really help to keep your enviroment barely liveable,
