| I was wondering if anyone has most all symptoms but no visible fibers or organisms in or under the skin? My brother has been suffering with something very similar the past 8 months. The only difference is there is no visible signs of anything. At first there was several small bite areas but nothing really visible since the initial beginning. This has been nothing but pure hell for him and his family. No one believes him because there is no visual evidence. I am going out on a limb and try to have an open mind that there could really be a "bug" type problem. I want to help him but don't know what to do. He has all the symptoms the constant feeling of bug bites or itching. It has literally destroyed him as a man and provider, brother and friend. He is probably going to loose his family (2 small children) becasue they cannot take it anymore. He needs professional help but we cannot find anyone that believes in his symptoms. Can anyone help? |

| It may be the beginning of the affliction. They are really getting close to some answers I think on this board so tell him to hang in there. Can you get the family to look at these forums to see there is something going on and people aren't just making it up? I am heading to an appointment so if I don't respond, don't think I am ignoring. sh |

| Ronetta - What state do you live in? I would recommend making an appointment to see Ginger Savely in San Franscisco. There are other doctors who treat Morgellons, but she has cracked the technique of seeing the fibers, which are usually very tiny, within unbroken skin. She will diagnose it for him. Something your family should know is that NIH now lists Morgellons on their website as an apparent Lyme-associated disease (the jury is still out on that relationship). Or you can try to look yourself. Get a 30X - 60X magnifier and bring him out into the bright sunlight and examine his skin. SS |

| Hi Ronetta Does his skin shed white particles?...like an itchy flakey scalp and body hair? (morgellon signs). You mentioned: Quote:
Has he got any 'stretch marks' on his back? One member here was diagnosed with Bartonella (cat scratch fever) in the end, after being biten in a hotel - and he had these stretch marks. He needs to see a good doctor - where he can mention the bites, but not necessarily Morgellons...then hopefully he can get tested - maybe focusing on bacterial infections first. Good luck Jo ![]() |

| Hi Ronetta, I have a lot of symptoms but very few fibers. A few months ago I shook my hair out and saw a bunch of white one's but since then like nothing....I even tried to '' find'' them but could not but 1 or 2 . I have only shown symptoms for 5 months so maybe It because we haven't been affected very long.I also don't have a lot of "bugs" but have seen a few springtails They are very small and light In color usually but not always. You might have him put a clean sheet on the bed then sleep on them In the morning check the sheets ...There will be a lot of sand like granules that was not there when the sheets were put on. This Is when I see the most "bug type" action they tend to come out at night or find you ...one or the other.I agree with Stillhere we are closer to finding what this is than ever tell him to hang in there and come to the site .We are all in this together and he doesn't have to feel that he is alone I thank God for this site and the people on it What State is your brother in?Praying for the Best, EaglewingsLast edited by EagleWings; April 21st, 2009 at 05:17 PM. |

| Thanks so much for all the great response. He is in KY and has tried so so many different things. Do you have any suggestions on doctors that may be able to help him. We are open to travel anywhere. Just want someone that understands and can help him. I believe if he doesn't get help soon from someone that doesn't think it's all in his head the outcome will be something fatal. He has been treated for many disorders but nothing seems to help. He has lived on the internet trying to find something that will help. His wife, 4 year old and 8 month old have no symptons that he is experiencing. This has been a living hell. He doesn't work and his life is so sad. I am trying to get ahold of a Dr. Amelia Withington. I heard her on "Coast to Coast AM" radio. Any info anybody can give will help comfort us while trying to find someone to help him. |
