Thanks Karen nice catch there. I am not familiar with the Mayo Clinic. How big are they?

Franky, I'd guess you and Bubba have talked and your question is answered but the Mayo Clinic is huge. I would guess they're the best known medical facility in the states, (feel free to correct me on that). As Bubba said, "when the Mayo Clinic gets on board..." we're headed for some answers! Thanks for following up with them Bubba, I never would have thought of that or of how to get my foot in the door. You two are really terrific. Thanks for everything. karen ![]() (especially that little dog...)

Thanks Karen that really does put it in better perspective. Anytime something like this does happen its a turn in the right direction. The tide seems to be slowly turning our way. ![]()

Franky - The Mayo Clinic is known around the world as one of the best research and treatment hospitals. Actually a number of leaders from the Middle East come there every year for their annual check ups and King Hussein from Jordan (I think) was treated there for his cancer. He passed away a few years back. They have also completed a number of siamese twin seperation surgeries in the past few years that have been successful. That said, I went to the Mayo a couple of years ago to see if they would recognize or figure out what was wrong with my skin (I had no idea others had it or what it was called). I was very disappointed in the physician I saw. Within 5 minutes of seeing me, he wanted me to see a shrink. Even when I told him that I had already taken a psychologial profile test and showned NO SIGNS of any delusion or psychosis. There were other things at that visit that were ridiculously unethical. Needless to say, I was really disappointed. A few weeks later, out of frustration, I called the Mayo again and demanded to see a different Doctor. I did, and he had an Intern in the room with us. Upon discussing with him so see if there was anything he thought he could do, he gave me pamphlets on Dermatitis. Whooopeee! Like that was something new. But in my describing to him the fibers, etc. he blew it off, but interestingly his Intern kept saying, "but, what about" and he shusshed her up basically. I wonder if they were aware at the time of this. I AM glad that the Mayo has at least broadcasted this, but I hate that they still talk about it being in your mind to an extent.
