You ARE definately ON to something here. Grapefruit juice and yes grapefruit I crave all the time and LOVE it. Cinnamon is EASY.

Keep in mind with grapefruit juice and grapefruit can not be ingested by all if it interacts with certain medications.

Here is a link which tells of the benefits, nutrients and possible drug interactions regarding grapefruit:
grapefruit, grapefruit juice, clinical uses, interractions with other drugs and medications .

Fortunately I do not take any of those medicines yippie! So Aliester I would love to do this. I would like to drink the juice and eat the fruit. 100 percent the cocktail is sugary junk.

Here is some information regarding cinnamon:
Cinnamon - Side Effects and Benefits

Is honey ok for a sweetener? I really like it and seem to tolerate it well.

Apparently cinnamon and honey are good for fighting disease:

The cinnamon part is easy. I do not even mind just putting it on food.

Great post and idea!

Aliester,

Good idea to sprinkle cinnamon and stevia on top of the grapefruit too! ??? -)

I haven't been doing it every day or in the quantities you state, but have been doing the grapefruit and cinnamon (on my coffee)....so it'll be easy for me. been taking epsom salt baths too, so that's a given as I'll add the rest.

Question: what about the rest of the food/beverages throughout the day? Anything you think will interfere? Any guidelines there?

Hi Spotted Dog I have lady bits too. I used to have lady bits problems as well like you descibe.

Would you like to know what I did? I bought regular plain disposable vinegar/water douches and bought povodine iiodine concentrate and shot a tbs. into this handy dandy douche.

Baby wipes are helpful as well but NEVER flush wipes EVEN if they SAY they are flushable. They are NOT. I learned the hard way and at my old place had to call Roto Rooter. What a mess.

Good thing I am around to mess up so others don't have to!!! Hah!

How I adapted to some foods over time (if there was something of benefit to them) was to eat a tiny amount of the offending food and also have water with a protein or something green. Over time it helped me to have beeter tolerance of some foods.

This also helps some with disease flare up. I love cinnamon. Did you know Coffee has MORE antioxidants than green tea? Only that is if not decaffinated. Decaf the antioxidants are gone.

I prefer columbian to arabica beans I seem to tolerate it better for some reason. Caffeine also helps with pain ironically when combined with such things as aspirin. Ever look at headache powders?

Caffeine and Aspirin work very well together against headaches. I had to deal alot with that lately.

Caffeine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

....Like alcohol and nicotine, caffeine readily crosses the blood–brain barrier that separates the bloodstream from the interior of the brain. Once in the brain, the principal mode of action is as an antagonist of adenosine receptors.[46] The caffeine molecule is structurally similar to adenosine, and binds to adenosine receptors on the surface of cells without activating them (an "antagonist" mechanism of action). Therefore, caffeine acts as a competitive inhibitor.

Adenosine is found in every part of the body, because it plays a role in the fundamental ATP-related energy-metabolizing system, but it has special functions in the brain. There is a great deal of evidence that brain adenosine concentrations are increased by various types of metabolic stress (including anoxia and ischemia), and act to protect the brain by suppressing neural activity, and by increasing blood flow.[47] Thus caffeine, by counteracting adenosine, has a generally disinhibitory effect on brain activity...

Aspirin thins the blood and has an anti-clotting effect which allows the caffeine transport to the central nervous system faster.
I guess you all knew this..just a little input..that's all LOL

Aspirin is in combination with Diclofenac (external) for joint and muscle aches and pains extremly helpfull too.

Keep in mind when you treat the disease fights back. All that crazy itchy lady stuff was before the baths even. If you try what I suggested it might help. My bits have been good for quite some time now.

Alestair if you have had the unpleasant experience of crawling and stinging and feeling like for example with your ears imagine it THERE. It is true also some get dried out by the baths.
