I found this disturbing to read. It was from a pediatric advice column. MANY have Morgellons Disease and they do NOT even have a clue. Judge for yourself: Pediatrics: Digestive issues in 2 year old, rice cereal, grains of sand . (LC)

OMG, LC - What else can it be??? Unidentifiable black specks and strigy stuff! The other symptoms - rash, digestive issues could be anything - but not the unidentifiable black specks. I would hate to alarm the mother (any more than she is) by trying to write in. Maybe write and ask if the mother herself has any unusual symptoms, without using the word? This is awful and really seems to confirm that babies are born with it. I'm sick to my stomach... SS

Sadsack There is no way to contact this family. Which is sad. Somehow I feel this child is still the same. Also mentioned were bumps on the face and how these "strings" and fibers would cling to the poor child. Also note the one doctor who refused to look at samples. This child at two was being fed MORE milk and soy! Cow's milk often has hormones and much soy is REALLY genetically modified. Margarine and vegatble oil are made from soy FYI. The more this child was given these things the worse she got. Did you notice too NO ONE not even the first doctor that gave the child an antiparisitcal even TRIED to identify WHAT this stuff was? Oh and I guarnantee if a person has Morgellons filling thier digestive tracts they WILL have adominal pain and SEVERE digestive issues. Also notice the child seemed to tolerate brocili OK. GREEN is good. (LC) Last edited by ladycolorado; March 17th, 2009 at 02:10 PM.

LC - I looked at it again and that was almost 2 years ago. How sad. There are no regular pediatricians currently available on that site to ask questions of, except a behavioral pediatrician. As far as digestive tract, I think we ALL have it there. This Morgellons BS is getting very old. It's just getting bigger all the time and....what....virtually nothing from those responsible for our well-being. Oh, I guess I'd just be paranoid if I suggested anything. SS

All I can say is that this baby did NOT have the black specks or fibers until taken off of breast milk. Breast is best. Especially for the first six weeks as the child gains the mother's immunity. I mean WHAT kind of knuckle heads are these doctors?!?! (LC) Last edited by ladycolorado; March 17th, 2009 at 05:53 PM.

My brother lives in Cal. and told me once the doctors aren't worth a penny in America. He can compare...he lived in Germany before. He says they are all "money hungry son of a b....." I do not want to say that german doctors are better...it's just not easy to find a good one either in America or Germany seems to me. Sometimes I think they're making money too easily that's all.

Insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies are what is wrong with America's healthcare. Greed plain and simple. Which is also why the world's economy is currently in the toilet. (LC)
