| I have been trying the salt and vitamen C treatment and 2 days after starting I got the lesion on my chin again. Same itchy feeling to. A lesion on my chin that wouldn't heal is how this whole nightmare began for me. Haven't had one there at all in about three years since it has moved to my scalp mostly. I was just wondering if anyone else has noticed anything like this. |

| Lets just say this, these things develope over time they are a real pain to get rid of. They live ON and IN our systems making this a systemic disease. If you see one there are 101 of them, where and how large is the question. These things follow the hair line, on the ears, between the eyes, they follow the jaw bone, the nose, you may have a dot on the end of your nose, that may turn into a lesion. Feel your shin bone, does it have bumps on it, of course it does, these are the type that cause the bone wasting is my idea. I hope you do not get anymore but that is not the usual. You need to read all the forums here, you must be interested in reading, and cyber investigating. Who knows you may be the one to find the answer. If you find a thread you want more answers or chat about just post on that thread it will come back up for Q/A. There are several products that are suggested to take it is up to you to be the judge, here is a little tip, doctors as far as I know have not really helped anyone heal, only prolonged their misery. What I found is antibiotics do nothing but cause a BLOOM, they may suppress the syptoms but after you will be SORRY. STEROIDS are even worse they allow it to grow unchecked while suppressing immune responce, if there is somthing we do not need less of that is immune responce. |

| I have also done the salt and the C protocol. As per a past member's instructions (Bubba who had treatment steps at one time) were certain things I was told. About Seasalt intake: 1. Make sure you use seasalt NOT table salt. Often it is additives NOT the salt itself which can raise blood pressure. I could never do the salt tabs, they are expensive and for some reason I always gagged on them. Seasalt is indeed better. DO keep an eye on blood pressure as a precaution. 2. Regarding seasalt: If you mix it with water you might barf. Try the seasalt in a cup of broth or a small fingerbowl of soup. It goes down better that way. 3. Also regarding seasalt intake. There are 5 grams of salt to 1 tsp. 1 gram of salt for every 20 lbs of bodyweight. This is the EVENTUAL goal. start with 1/4 to 1/2 of goal amount you will be less likely to get diharrea. I learned that one the hard way. i.e if you weigh 100 lbs, try to work up to one tsp a day, but start with 1/4 to 1/2 tsp of salt a day as the eventual goal. you could build up the amount after a week's time. About vitamin C intake: 1. I find 1000 mg tablets are the best to get. Either that or they do have vitamin C powder or liquid Vitamin C which comes in geltabs. DON"T forget about lemons and limes, I used to quarter them and eat then because the also have bioflavinoids and these are essential as well. 2. You might also graduate up with vitamin C intake. I started at 5000 mg, and over time worked my way up to 15,000 MG (5 100 mg tabs 3x daily). Probiotics: 1.It is also essential to replace the good bacteria in your digestive tract to fight the bad germs in there. Particularily if you do take any antibiotics. However probiotics and antibiotics must be taken a few hours apart. Otherwise they will negate each other. I too learned this the hard way. 2.With probiotics, some examples of good probiotics are chewable acidophilus tablets, kefir, or even cheap activia yogurt if available (in the USA at least) are good examples. You do NOT want the bottle to say MG of wafers !!! That has nothing alive and any good in it and it a waste of money. It must say active cultrues in yogurt or kefir or in the case of chewable acidophilus wafers LIVE ORGANISMS. with the wafer you want at LEAST 1 billion live organisms or more in a wafer. LOTS AND LOTS OF GOOD WATER: MOST important is to also make sure you drink LOTS of good clean water! Water flushes out toxins, hydrates the body and contains oxygen. Water is also useful if having a herximer reaction where the disease flares up drink water and eat something green or a good protein and it helps them cease faster. At least this has been my experience. If you sip on water all day you can be surprised really not that bad and it does help you to feel better. I hope this is helpful, (LC) |

| okay, big mouth here. Little Missy monopolize the forum here ;-) I just want to say that I think the few intravenous vitamin C sessions I had really helped me get better. Also, for so many years I stayed away from salt and I used to work out and never eat any salt, so I sweat without replacing other than what was in my food. It wasn't until I got this fun thing that I put salt back into my diet. I bought sea salt with iodine added and I bet that had something to do with it also. And as an extra bonus....I'm so excited I now can have salt with a margarita!!! (from scratch, o course) Kritts |

| jeez! I slept this last two days, my bed in the morning showed no spacks. Quick immersion on a hydroxy perioxide bath with little salt, had like 3 fibers on it , no specks. But then today I got twoo new "bumps"in my arm and my left arm still hurts and my shoulder is working because the Cortisone shot I got 2 weeks ago from the doctor. Otherwise I would have a frozen left shoulder. Now... my uncle read me the Salt + C protocol, and meanwhile that I have not gotten the pills, I increased my vit C and passed Vick vaporub. BOY!!! Don't I itch like mad ? I have sand and black specks coming out from all places of my skin! He told me to take anti-Helminthic too, parasite pills. Now, how I can get that without prescription... I wonder... But in any case I will also still on protocol of essential oils, plus aminos, good food ... and yogurt. I am going to get some salt now at the grocery store, just as a palliative while salt pills are not here. I am getting bagfulls so I can bathe on them too. Wish me luck! Is my day off, I need some sleep. I also ( itch itch) wonder, that this tread is old, and if anyone got any results with it? |

It went well for 2 weeks, until I decided to paste myself in coconut oil. Now is CRAZY AGAIN! Itch... itch... white stuff all over, new sores. DARN!!! So what brand of Invermectin should I get? Also the salt vit C did not work for me... I tried only three times, all three after I took it I turned inside out... IfI take the salt pills, I Throw up! |

| Jee, You know sometimes I think 'herxing' takes different forms. We don't really know how it works for different maladies. the coconut oil might have been driving them nuts and killing them. I'd think you can skip the salt part (but use more in your diet)..(go grab a bag of natural potato chips)... and focus on the vitamin C. For the skin itching, there are many remedies here for that. | Coconut oil seems to draw a lot of stuff out. I wouldn't say that using it is making it worse however it is drawing the stuff out. Before I started using coconut oil on my skin, my face would burn when I sweat. Sometimes it would just burn and itch for no reason. I assumed I was allergic to all makeup but used it anyway due to hiding scars and my terrible complexion. I use coconut oil on my face all the time at night and if my skin seems dry I use it under my foundation. I have noticed a decrease in what is coming out and my face no longer itches and burns except of course when the coconut oil draws something out, but not all of the time like it used to. When I started using coconut oil I didn't know I had this, but I thought it was weird that coconut oil helped my skin and Vicks also. They are both oily so I never would have guessed they would help. You would think oil would make "acne" worse. |
