Default Looking to write an article about Morgellons

Hi there,

I'm looking to write an article about Morgellons for a local publication. I was wondering if anyone - doctor patient, or friend - would be willing to share their story with me. I can be contacted at sl.fried at yahoo dot com, or you can simply reply to this thread. I would love to hear from you!

Best,

Stacey

Hi Stacey,

Have you gotten a lot of private replies? I think many people want to share their story but are afraid of public ridicule.

What is your angle on the story?

Where are you located?

Hi Sprite,

Though I do want to discuss Morgellons in a positive manner, I think it's imperative that I give every side to the story a voice. Patients, doctors, and even disbelievers all deserve to be heard, especially as no one can draw any concrete conclusions about the disease yet. Ultimately, I hope this article would raise awareness of a disease that affects thousands of people, yet is still very much unknown. No one's real name has to be used, so nobody has to be afraid of public ridicule. I am located in Boston, but am able to conduct the interviews through phone or email. Again, anyone can feel free to privately message me, or email me at sl.fried at yahoo dot com.

Best,

Stacey

Stacey,

I would like to know who you write for? or are you freelance? Will people be able to read the article after you have written it? Also, what is the "fried" in your email address pertaining to?

I personally think that there has been quite enough published about what people believe to be true about Morgellon's, especially the "dis-believers".

There is as of yet no "positive" light on Morgellon's Disease, or Fiber Disease. And there's no concrete evidence either.

I would think the CDC, the NIH, or the office of Barrak Obama would be some great resources for a good article if you can get an interview with any of them.

Another couple of resources would be Dr. Randy Wymore at OSU, Dr. Kilani at Clongen Labs, or Marc Neuman.

I personally don't think ridicule is of much importance to many of us, although it might be to some. There couldn't be just alot more said or done to try to make any of us look any crazier than what has already been done.

If you do get to publish an article I certainly hope that you include something to and about the rediculous study the CDC has been "working" on, and btw, Kaiser Permanente would be a very good resource. Good luck there as well.

This study was supposed to have been made public in January of this year. As usual we are all just waiting.....but not with much hope.

Good luck
Niecy

Hi Stacey,

Being from Boston, have you looked into Lyme disease as well?

If you are going to do a report on both sides, you have come to the right place for information at least from our side. Please check out our archived posts.

What angle are you intending to approach this from? If it's just a general report on both sides of the issue, I would suggest a more bold approach which would possibly land you a notice in a major publication. Just about anything that could be said against Morgellons has already been written.

If I were you, and I were young and if I were not afraid to uncover the truth, I'd be in Heaven right now at the opportunity to reveal something that could very well save a great deal of lives now and in the future....including your own.

Morgellons is just the tip of the iceburg.

How much do you care about your future health and that of your future children, should you have them?

Stacey -
Some hard science does exist to prove the existence of a malady never before seen in humans. Dr. Wymore is your best place to start (his work with the fibers).
There is other scientific proof that something unusual is going on - see Citovsky's small study with agrobacteria.
Hardly anyone wants to accept Dr. Staninger's work, people with Morgellons or not, but she did employ the best independent labs in the country to support her work. It seems more scientists than average folks are buying into her research.
I know my asking you to please don't re-do the "delusional" angle again won't stop you, but I'm asking anyway. So much harm has come from that stuff, and in 2009 it has become quite apparant that this is for real. Please don't add to the enormous pain and suffering that so many thousands of us have had to endure.
I will email you. I'd be happy to talk with you.
Take a look at this video: It might help you understand the pain of not being taken seriously. It revolves around a CFS patient (or ME, as they call it in UK), but many of us carry that diagnosis as well.

Default The video just makes me mad as hell.

They locked this young woman away to die, its sickeing, the doctors should be put out of practice. Just because these idiots have no realize and there is nothing so far in their BOOKS the ASSUME that people are insane. The spine problem is why I suggest the DMSO down the spine it does help and only a tiny bit is needed.

Baraka,

You've mentioned about your ear on one side and all that.

My ear, my sinus infections mostlly involving my same ear (right side) EVERYTHING is on the right side, and my EAR....I just have the urge to ATTACK my ear. It's the one that also has the clicking sound constantly.

I just want to get in that ear and freak on it!!!!

Default Gse

GSE the hell out of it everyday, if you are worried about the ear achs that come at first just do the outside of the ears with strait GSE, brown skin will shrivel and come off, behind the ears will crack open and leak yellow goo, they may have a bit of pain if you keep doing it too long. Let them heal up if they get hurting, this is where you can use desitin to heal or even, anti biotic cream. then start again. Soon your ears will be nice and pink, the lesions take longer, but they will sooner or later open and spill out their guts and die. The GSE will NO longer bother the skin at all, you can check for involvment in the outer ear with Hydrogen peroxide 35% it will show EXACTLY the involvment, that will sting a little when you apply it but you will see right away the problem. These things love ears, and throats. The hydrogen peroxide will leave a white stain that will be gone in a few hours, and is a good way to put them on notice that they are going to die. I myself still have the tinnitus, it comes and goes, but is finally much less, UNTILL I treat the inside of the ear, then it will scream but go back to being less and even a lower tone. If you put GSE inside the ear you will also get, 3 to 4 ear aches and they are not fun, after those you will be homefree, POSSIBLY , as I was. I feel the GSE afflicted and killed one legion of these monsters below the ear. Who really knows, what I do know is GSE is very reactive to this and now I have no more ear aches at all.

I am going to look into tinnitus and see if anything has been done for it.
