| Characterization of Treponema phagedenis-Like Spirochetes Isolated from Papillomatous Digital Dermatitis Lesions in Dairy Cattle Characterization of Treponema phagedenis-Like Spirochetes Isolated from Papillomatous Digital Dermatitis Lesions in Dairy Cattle -- Trott et al. 41 (6): 2522 -- Journal of Clinical Microbiology Four spirochete strains were isolated from papillomatous digital dermatitis (PDD) lesions in Iowa dairy cattle and compared with two previously described spirochete strains isolated from dairy cattle in California...... Both antibody and lymphocyte blastogenic responses were reduced in convalescent dairy cattle, suggesting the immune response to these spirochetes has short duration. These results demonstrate genetic and antigenic diversity among T. phagedenis-like treponemes and provide further evidence for the involvement of these spirochetes in the pathogenesis of PDD. Papillomatous digital dermatitis (PDD) is a leading cause of lameness in dairy cattle (23). This disease state is referred to by a variety of names including digital dermatitis, interdigital papillomatosis, hairy heelwart, and hairy footwart. PDD begins as a mild, superficial dermatitis which progresses to an erosive lesion. The tissue becomes granulated and can form a hyperkeratotic papillomatous lesion with long hair-like projections (3, 29, 30). These lesions usually form on the plantar surface, proximal to the bulb of the heel, or occasionally, within the interdigital cleft, and are thought to arise due to constant exposure to fecal slurry (2, 2 .Any further input from the mdr community is welcome!! |

| My ex was acting like a mad cow, hmmmmmmm,LOL. This could easily be part of the bovine industries follies, it is somthing to contemplate. Pictures of this malady would be kinda interesting to see. What ever disease is out there it is almost a sure thing that the cattle industry is furthuring it with the antibiotic and steroid drug induced meat they sell. |

| Thanks Paul - good find. FAMILY: Chloropidae (eye gnats)
Interesting that they are a spirichete, like borrelia, and very interesting about the filaments sticking out of lesions. Jo xxx |

| When it was found out that more soldiers were killed from "syphillis" than from bullets, Spirohetes became a pathogen of interest for the department of defense and it has been worked on and tweaked. syphilis, lyme, morgellons (IMO) are all spirochetes. Problem with Morgellons is that we have this polluted world, GMO food, Chemtrails to fight off as well. All the systemic problems of spirochetes perfectly match Morgellons. I beleive the reason the CDC has announced "Starting the study in Northern California" is just that............!!!! START. NEVER did they say it would END in California. They will do (as they are now with wild animals) go region by region to learn all the "variations" of the spirochete. For instance in Jacksonville, Florida. THe spirochete found in animals is called FL27 Likewise, all the regions that they have been too have found small differences in the pathogen, but they are spirochetes. CDC will learn about the version in Northern California, then probably move on to another region, ...... Texas, Florida, ????? anywhere. Cuz, each test for each specific variation of the spirochete needs to be altered to "catch" the right version of this pathogen. Problem is that now the Spirohete is so virulent and we must fight off the other environmental contaminants around us. Nothing is safe anymore. NOT the water, air or food. |

| Kritters, ahahahaha that song! ![]() Seasprite, Those pics of Papillomatous Digital Dermatitis remind me to the "TREE MAN". Did you ever see the video on him? It was really sad, they brought him here to get treatment. They used high doses of vitamin A among other things to help him. |
