Default Hair Talk

Anybody elses hair acting differently? Are you finding it's texture feeling different? My hair is pretty short at the moment but I notice certain hairs standing upright like antenae. I brush them down with my hand and within moments they are back up, standing vertically upright. Also, I have naturally straight hair and it is starting to wave.

Hi Mat--

Yes--to all of the above! My stick straight hair is wavier and has a weird texture and look compared to before. Some of the hairs stick up like a
one-strand cowlick.

It's weird. I also have colored my hair for many years and now find that after coloring it, it actually feels a lot better---less crawly. Must be the peroxide or something.

I've been using a dandruff shampoo with Neem oil, tea tree, rosemary, menthol, and colloidal sulphur. Made by a company called JASON, cheaper than Nizoral by half, and works just as well if not better for me.

Hope you're doing OK.

Kelley

Where do you get that shampoo from? Are you in US/UK or somewhere else?
Why do you think it stands up like that? It is almost like it is attracting something. Do you make others itch?

I got mine at Whole Foods Market---not sure if you have those in the UK. It was about $8. I'm in the US--northern California.

But you can get the stuff online---I just looked and Amazon UK has it for £7.95. It's called JASON Dandruff Relief shampoo. My accupuncturist is now having me add 56 drops (exactly!) of tea tree oil to it, but I felt it was working pretty well even before that.

Haha. It's called HoneyRose Special Mixture. I put in the word 'drugless' because I thought people might think it was marijuana or hashish. I wish it was but it aint. Anyway, tonight I just had a couple of herbal cigarettes, you roll it yourself, although there are ready rolled available. You can buy it from most specialist tobacconists and health food shops.

The ingredients are:
Marshmallow leaves, Red
Clover Flowers and Rose togeher with apple juice and honey. Yummy! Would you like me to roll you one, Kell?

I forgot to add:

As far as I know, I don't make others itch, but I think my cat has it.

There does seem to be some electro-magnetic component to this--maybe that's where the static electrcity comes in. At my worst, when I stood in front of the copy machine at work, my shins went bat-s**t crazy with the crawlies!

sorry to stagger these replies--I'm spacey. it's been a long workday and the day before the full moon tends to be my worst day.

I find that that public computers trigger me. Seriously, I sit at one and everybody starts itching. I got a lift with my landlord today and he was doing the same. I developed a weird itch over the last two days in between my
little finger and third finger and my landlord started itching his fingers in the very same place earlier tonight. I was supposed to have a 'back to work' meeting today but cancelled it. I will have one in two weeks approx and I am dreading the likelihood of the contagious itching thing. To me, that is the worst thing. It's ruining my life. That is the part of Morgellons which is driving me even further into isolation.
