This paragraph in the advisory committee to the director says that:

Follow-Ups from October 30 Meeting

Advisory Committee to the Director Meeting—A meeting summary will be available soon. In response to public comments regarding Morgellons disease, CDC is sending a letter to all state medical associations that offers an overview of CDC’s activities and resources related to this condition. The next Advisory Committee to the Director meeting is on April 30, 2009.

From this maybe we can deduce that any study results would go to the director at this meeting on April 30th.

I cant believe that they havent got any results yet. If they publish the results in a peer reviewed journal that's gonna take maybe 2 years. This simply isnt good enough CDC.

I agree Jo about the CDC. If we wait on the medical community and other health authorites as well we would be old bones. I am glad there are places like MDR for support and information. Thanks for adding the helpful links.

This is a very flawed situation, I have this, it took 30 years to fully spread its wings or be set off by somthing(ANTIBIOTICS) (STEROIDS)!! My daughter was born with very tiny and simple involvement, keratosis, a small growth on her neck and as a baby got female infections. The Indian doctor that saw my daughter said do not worry she is NORMAL, yes she was a normal afflicted baby, in India I am sure most are like that and now also in America. The plague is not an instant disease, when people say I caught it 6 months ago, thats when I saw the lesions, or the fibers, or whatever, they were infected LONG before this situation, LONG before.

The problems , small or large, explained away by , D.A.D., that abbreviation does not stand for father, it means, Dumb A** Doctors. Allergies, stress, contamination from work, you name it D.A.D. could always explain it away or give you matainance pills for that condition, or for lack of any comfort to the patient the D.A.D. will call you CRAZY. I think that is slander, yes slander and it could be proven once this malady is recongnized and we can sue these phonys for improper diagnosis. I really would like to do this, take a USELESS ANIMAL, hmmmmmm , lets see, a polititian, and remove one of my LESION/TUMORS sew it into his back and lets see what happens.

I was watching the National News this evening about the dire conditions of
the California Pelican. As I sat there and watched how much concern was given to these beautiful creatures and all of the medical attention they are receiving I honestly started to feel a little envious of the grey buggers.

I think I may get a mail order pelican costume and start wandering near the California coastline in a dazed and confused manner to perhaps receive the medical attention I so desperately need.

I had just read something that suggested the CDC accepted it was a very serious illness and my heart was in my mouth. It says Morgellons Fungi identified.

When is the CDC going to say anything new???!!!

I am blessed to know about this disease and to have met the wonderful people on this site. I would be lost if I didn't know about tbm I(total body modification/kenesiology) and didn't have the support of my friends here.

When I explain what this morgs is, I simply say it is similar to lymes, with fibers...
