Please can all Uk members sign this petition and then send it to your UK contacts. If you don't know what Codex is about, trust me ,you wont like it . One of many things it will do is outlaw herbal,Vitamin and mineral supplements.They will only be available with a prescription.

Carla that really is crazy! Without our dear herbal,Vitamin and mineral supplements, we are left with no alternatives to our own health care. This is such a shame, and it probably all boils down to profits.

The principle of self medication with herbal/vitamin/mineral food supplements would be restricted to 'prescription only' status, if the Codex Alimentarius is applied in this country.
Since the NHS priorities are ill health diagnosis and treatment, the good health preservation that supplements provide will be inaccessible to the majority of our population and the cost to the NHS will increase, and the health of the population will decline.

Not to mention that MOST doctors don't know squat about natural remedies/supplements, don't even believe in them. Plus, who is going to train them???

Maybe the goal is just to stop people from taking them so we'll get sicker and then will take more phama and get sicker still and die. Sounds like a plan. Make the rich richer and kill off the peons.

It is not just the UK . For some reason any law changes in either of our countries apply to both.
I don't know when that happened but I'm sure it didn't used to be like that.

On new years eve next year Codex goes into irreversable mode .
No more Vitamins ,Supplements,Herbs or Alternative Treatments.
