I hardly know where to begin. I have never had problems with my skin until I moved to this house. That was seven years ago. What started out small has taken over my whole body, my self esteem, my social life and now I'm starting to wonder if its going to take my life. I have gone to so many Dr.s to where now they won't even bother with me. I've had to do my own research and what I think I have is larvae. It's from my cat that I use to have. Ever since then it has spread all over. I looked up the treatment for larvae and it is some medicine called Thiabendazole. I cannot get a Dr. to give it to me for the life of me. So in the meantime it is killing me. Can someome help with advice or with a good Dr. so I can at least scratch that off my list and or at least give me a peace of mine that it is not larvae.

If you have some aloe gel put it on your skin for about 10 minutes. Or, make this :1t.plain yogurt, 1t.milk, 1/4t.ginger, 1/4 dry mustard. Stir this recipe and then "butter " it on your skin with a dinner knife(blunt end). The idea is to let this soak in and watch the reaction. Next....rub baking soda onto the area like powder and leave it there. Repeating this over and over , if it is the morgellons critter....will cause the area to swell, turn red, and begin to surface the irritation and itchy critter. Continued daily applications will force this to come out, errode off. Its messy and scary looking at first...but, it allows the skin to be unburdened from this invader and puts it in the trash where it belongs. If the skin is not invaded...there is no reaction to the aloe, or recipe or baking soda. Hope this helps....at least to begin to see if you are dealing with the strange skin problems called morgellons.

Thanks I am going to try that. To tell you the truth Chester I have had this for so long that I would have to do my whole body. It has gotten so bad that I have to continuously change my clothes. Clothes seems to pull them right off. When I take a towel to my face especially my eyes and rub down you can see long lines underneath my skin going towards my eyelashes. These now long fiber like hairs end up rolling down into my eyes. I think they come out of my eyelash pore. These fibers continue to grow under my skin making hardly any room form them. They end up pulling my skin in different ways and they get lodged up into some corner. My whole body Chester hurts me so bad and what is worrying me the most are my insides. I find myself choking on them and spitting up fibers. They're all in my mouth and I worried about my insides. I've been bloated lately and I really do feel like each day is going to be my last day. Sorry about this depressing letter but I can't help it. I'm all by myself.

Lynn, i am Nancy. I dont want you to feel alone, God is with each one of us helping us come against this. My prayers are with you, and my words can only share what has helped me and i have found success with. With that said, here is what i have done to help on the inside. I was scared to try it, but researched it for a long time, and got on a forum where folks know more than i, and i proceeded on their words and experience. Now, i have had 3 years of experience feeling benefits of using this product. It is called "Sovereign Silver" and is at Whole Foods or Vitimin Shoppe($12-$30 bottles) Like bread has many different brands...so does silver. This brand is a safe high tech one with an EPA safety guide on the package. I began with a few drops each day, and now use about 5 droppers each night as a mouthwash, to swish and swirl for about 5 minutes and swallow. I use this in my eyes, and on my skin. It appears to dissolve the coating that this organism makes, and robs it of its oxygen. When i first started taking this product...i quit having to take naps all the time. *************The next thing that is simple, but helps me....is to have some baking soda in the shower. After i wash hair and skin....i begin a "scrub down". I have learned that baking soda dissolves this gunk....so i powder an area while i am standing in the shower with that part of body not getting water on it. In detail....i put an arm out of the shower and place baking soda on a small loufa sponge. I put the sponge on my skin and gently rub it in a circular motion, thus applying the soda to the skin. I wait a few seconds for the soda to sink into the skin.....then i gently scrub off the area and rinse. If i then rub my fingernails lightly over the area of skin.....i can feel "stuff" come off easily. I picture it like a summer tan that is faded and falling into the tub. This proceedure is a way of collecting and removing excess fibers from the skin...hopefully opening up pores that are getting sealed by this organisms secretions. It is a gentle effort but has proven to be successful in stopping all itching. ************Having said that, i also have noticed that when a certain area begins to itch when dry...it needs an extra helping hand. It is a new fiber coming out, or trying to get in...or some embedded ooze that is surfacing. When this happens....i start with sticky tape on the dry skin. Repetedly patting the area with sticky tape...like about 20 times with however many new pieces of tape are needed....will remove fibers and layers of fibers or ooze and the scabs that hold the ooze. Then, when i am done treating this particular area in this manner....i will put some silver on it. Or pat it with some baking soda. These simple proceedures have worked so well for me that i am happy with them and have not changed them in my fiberfight. There are many others who have found success with other methods. The goal is to find what works best for you. And you will, and God will show you. The hard part is to not give up until you begin to see progress, and the good part is to know that you are not alone. I am sure everyone here has you in their heart and will send many prayers your way. This is all so scary, but dont be scared....God is with us and showing us victory over this. Big hugs and i look forward to hearing you vent your story of fiberfighting and contributions to unraveling this mystery. Lynn thank you for reaching out....our hearts reach out to you.

Lynn....i forgot to mention the environment. Mine was covered in webbing that can only be seen with a bright light. I used a portable search light from walmart to find the webbing in places from ceiling to floor. Even under chairs and growing along electrical cords. I dont know if the tiny black bugs found above some lamps were making these webs or not....but all of this is coming in from outside on the breeze and a quick sweep of the vacuum wand will put it all in the trash. The easiest way to clean off fabrics is with sticky tape. Target has a large paint size one for about $10. Roll the bed sheets and couch and your clothes and say goodbye to the excess fiber acccumulation. This initial effort makes a big difference and gives comfort. A bottle of club soda will easily wipe off smooth surfaces. Put it is a spray bottle and wipe stuff up off glass and windows and woodwork and appliances.

Nancy, What association do you make between the webs, the tiny black bugs, the abalone, and the beans you get from your lesions? I noticed you said you used the loofah. I remember reading how there are microbes in the loofah which, although dried and seemingly dead with the sponge, which was once alive also, are rejuvenated when wet again. and cause skin problems. Think about the association between loofah (the sponge) and the organisms which are part of the sponge which can be rubbed into your skin. Kritters

Nancy, I agree with Kritts (yet again !! ) All the scrubbing type things I used in the bath eventually became black and horrid and I've now thrown them all out...............Hilly x

Hello Lynnschnepp, Depending on your symptoms, its probably better to try ivermectin as this is more of a broad spectrum anti parasitic than thiabendazole. And one of the only human anti parasitics that many morgellons sufferers have benefited from. It tends to force the larvae out of the body. Exfolliating skin is really important hey. I use a plastic net puff with some sulphur soap, followed by a salt rub/shampoo mix. With a good shake, the net dries quickly which helps keep it clean. Jo xxx

You girls and your thoughts about loufas are probably right on. It just that i spray it with silver....but, its just cause i have a silver maker. In the shower i also us a dish brush made of soft nylon....would that stay clean for "scrubbing" in the shower...what do you think?
