Default Scalp Lesion check-in

I've had this disease for almost 3 years, and have had my large scalp lesion for more than 2 of those years. I am getting very worried about it, and want to check in with others about how to deal with this, if you have any ideas. First, let me describe. It is bright red and has the semicircular shape Cliff talks about. Lately it has become so thick, even though I pick at it daily. Sometimes I get a fibrous long (amazingly long) thing (scab?) from inside the crater. Other times I get something like what Chester (I think) has referred to as a "bean" -- although these are hard to come by because it is difficult to get anything from the thickest portion of the semi-circle. But what is really disturbing me is that lately there has been a really smelly viscous liquid coming from it -- I get this every day, and it is kind of a lot, and I'm worried, because the crater is so deep, that this is brain fluid and that with my picking at it I may have weakened my defense system (for instance, did I pull something off that exposed the brain and I'm therefore now making the brain more vulnerable to infection?). I've lost so much hair and my scalp hair doesn't cover this poor thing. Are there any ideas out there, and do other people have this? I've only once read a Morgellons bit that mentions "oil" coming from lesions, but I've missed it if others have talked about this.
Also, just a general question -- are people generally lesions free? If someone has gotten rid of the lesions, does that mean the disease has lessened in the body generally. In other words, is there a relationship with degree of lesions and other manifestations of the disease? I'm hopeful that's so because in general the lesions have lessened a bit because the source (vector) is no longer in my environment. Thank you for any feedback. bpw

First, you are not exposing your brain hun, the skull is very thick and will protect you. Please don't worry about that. As for the discharge, I've had that too and it stunk. Of course the doctors tell me it's nothing. I've been using neem salve all day every day and haven't had any discharge since I started it. Some day I will layer the neem with some neosporin on top for infection purposes. I used to "ooze" all day which formed a huge ooze scab (for lack of a better explanation) that was enormous by the time I got home from work. Anyways, neem is something to give a try. Hard to say what will work as we all seem to have individual results. I found mine at a health food store.

I still have the lesions on my chin that move/spread. They've been there for two years also. My chin looks like a dog bit my face off with all the scars. I just have to come up with a good "war story" when it's all over to avoid questions. I have them on the back of my head near the neckline also. I'd love to find a way to get rid of them for good.

I also wondered if being lesion free meant a road to recovery. I'm glad you asked.

I hope you can feel better soon and ease your mind. Take care!

bpw.... I found that the best way for me was DSP cream.. and also possibly Dercut ointment and drops. I don't have any lesions now, just a few pimples. I'm sorry your's is so bad, and I really feel for you... Hilly

Sorry you have had to endure this Bpw.
I like to think that no leisons means less infection but who knows . I only get the odd one which DSP gets rid of easily but I have sore joints and headaches a lot .
I have lots of bumps under my skin though. Especially behind my ears.

Default also, try...

I don't know how I forgot to mention this:

Baking Soda (aluminum free- of course) from the health food store. Sodium bicarbonate.

make a paste with pure water and apply to lesions and leave on til it comes off. keep doing it and see if it helps. they have found that baking soda kills the fungus in cancer tumors and if you do a search on this forum from the home page and punch in baking soda or sodium bicarbonate, you'll find so much info that has been posted on it.

You may even try going to the drug store and asking the druggist for a pure, chemical form.

I have heard Dr. Kolb and Dr. Staninger both say that the lesions indicate an "overload" and is the body's way of expelling this stuff. They are eruptions.

Hi BPW...in world war ll, baking soda was used for cleaning wounds. I am using it to fizz away the construction of the lesion....so that the beans will loosen their attachments and come out. The skin that surrounds a lesion that has been opened daily for months is never affected by the soda. This is because the baking soda does not like the morgellons lesion. It goes into all the parts of it and absorbs it and brings it to the surface. Your job is to put the soda there...remove it when it is saturated...and replace fresh baking soda. The first application of baking soda can sting. This is because it goes into the entire construction of the lesion where no one else can...or wants to go." Way to go"..baking soda! This might hurt because it will cause the lesion to swell, turn red, and ignite a fizzing reaction and defensive goo. Spraying water on the area will stop all stinging. It is up to you how much to do. A soda session before a shower, one application before bed, or just "wearing " some on the lesion all day. Be creative, relax and dont worry...the soda will clean this mess up for you over time. In time you will feel the swelling go down, the opening hole surface and lose its tenderness. Lets say you spend $1 for a box....and in your mind you see that before you get a new box....you will have a whole new confidence in lesion removal.

i know i've been gone a long time since readin these posts reminds me of the things i learned here a long time ago and had forgotten them. i've endured a lesion on the right side of my top lip and on the right side of the end of my nose. just gettin outta the hospital i find out i have a white mass in my right lung and one in my right kidney. wonder what's goin on on my right side? wonder if its because i'm LEFT HANDED???

i, also, am a "picker" but usin the steps suggested here are a lifesaver to me, bpw, and i'm sure you'll find them very relieving, too.

brenda...are you 'brendarella'? If so, welcome back! I think you were leaving as I came.

sadsack...what you said fits with what my naturopathic doctor told me when I first was trying to find out what what my lesions were. He said the body is trying to rid itself of what doesn't belong in it (toxins, pathogens). He also said that only people with strong immune systems can do this. Others who basically don't take care of themselves have bodies which just allow the pathogens to do their thing. I think he's right. I don't believe the bs about the reason we have this is OR lymes is because we are immune compromised....at least in that respect. In a different way, for sure. That different way, IMO is that we have several things going on and also bio-engineered products our bodies are trying to expell, but are having a difficult time of it because it's a manufactured entity and requires more than our immune system computes at this time. Also, if our blood pH is acid, it's difficult to do the job. That is where the baking soda comes in. It's alkaline.

I think we should all buy shares in the Bicarbonate companies. They will be the only ones showing a massive profit soon.
Another thing to use on the lesion is diluted GSE.
Baraka had his ear loaded with this stuff. He mentioned having a tiny red spot on the ear.I had one too,so treated it with the 35% peroxide and it brought it to the surface- the length of the ear.Dreadful.Then i put GSE on it and loads of yellow goo came out.I wouldn't have believed I had anything in the ear,but the lobes are a favourite place. My earrings looked too heavy for my ears so I stopped wearing them as the lobes looked to 'sag'.Apparently morgs make the lobes bigger.Check your ears.
