Am a current sufferer

I have been on a very long hopeless road of going to numerous Doctors with all of them not helping me what so ever. What ever happened to the good old Doctors that listen to you. Now a days they are more into fast treating you with the easiest diagnosis instead of trying to figure it out. In the meantime I think I am going to die. I feel so hopeless. Can somebody please help?

Come here...here is a hug. I am Nancy....this is exactly how i felt, like i was going to die. I prayed...oh God what is wrong? You know...there are lots of folks who feel this way, so welcome....we are getting some light on this, some prayers answered, some new directions. There are lots of words written here to look thru....but, just know that all of us have felt just like you, and you are not alone.

Lynne, Your right about Doctors.They haven't got a clue.
The best thing you can do is help yourself.

What you say rings the same to most of us. I believe the doctors are only allowed about five whole minutes per customer due to insurance. This leaves little room for those of us who have a more complex problem than the common cold. There are many who care deeply about you and the Morgellons community as a whole and have taken great steps to try and get the word out and make the medical community understand. It has been a slow and agonizing process however. But KNOW that there are many behind the scenes working on your behalf.

I found this one last night. Someone must have gained access to a CDC meeting back in May 2008 in a public question asking segment of the meeting and wanted the CDC to make "A letter to Doctors" regarding this disease.

The CDC only ended up referring them back to their stupid generic weblink for "unexplained dermopathy" but it gave me a kick to know that that person had the guts to come forward.

Hi Lynnschnepp,

This may not seem very important to you right now, because you are right in the middle of the worst of the worst when it comes to "Morgellons", because you are ready to give up and feel that no-one is there to help you,

BUT...

it will get better. You will get better.

Most of us here have been through it and are getting through it, day by day, baby steps, deep breaths... a "pat" on the back recognizing what you have done and overcome during the day.

I've been away from this site (and the internet) for so long I almost feel like a "newbie" again! There is so much info here and it is hard to go back to the archives to read all the posts we have spent countless hours on, trying to help others. Ahhh, such wonderful posts and information we have posted to help others like us.
