| I had a really bad canker sore less than a month ago, it lasted a week. Now I am getting another one. Does anyone else have this happen? Be well, sprite |

| Hi Sprite, I quickly googled canker sores, as I thought they were the same as herpes. What I found was it is supposedly different, although (shocker) they don't know what causes them. Therefore, I'd say they are a form of herpes which affects a different level of tissue. More women than men get them, usually around mentrual time. (another shocker) same with herpes simplex. Are you keeping your blood from being overly acidic? google acid foods vs. alkaline foods and you'll see what you're eating that may play a role. Of course, that's not the only thing working here. There is just so much, and it's all so complex, that all we can do is try to stay healthy and not be too acidic. As usual, just my two 'sense'. Kritters |
