| I had two eurekas in the last two days regarding moisture. I have to hurry to write this before I forget. ;-) One, Nancy....you talk about applying baking soda and responded to another poster (sorry other poster I don't remember your name) about the fact that the bathroom tissue was good because it absorbed the critters out of their comfort zones. Two, is that this is what the salt does. It osmotically absorbs the moisture from our skin, thus from the critters as well. Anything we injest which causes inflamation or bloating or water retention is not good for us but is for our Morgellons creature(s) whatever they are in our own particular situation. That's all. That's all I have to offer at this time. Oh and get this....I just figured out what salt cured pork was all about!!! duhh uhhhh! better late than never and even better when it falls into place for a reason. love to all. | Hi there Kritts, Yes, moisture is the parasites' friend, any type of parasite. Too much dampness in the body is what causes many problems in the body, especially in those who live near water or in a damp climate. In the summer many illnesses are the result of damp heat. Cold damp is also a problem and is often found in those whose body temperatures run much below 98.2. I suspect that most people who have morgellons also have dampness problems which is discussed extensively in traditional Chinese medicine. Any time I have seen pictures of people with morgellons they look as if they have spleen problems. Kind of a puffy weight all over their bodies. Parasites can create dampness in the body as well. Probably they have some sort of hormone which encourages water retention in their hosts. So yes, treating dampness problems will help parasitic problems, whether internally or externally. Lately, in addition to ivermectin, I have been using a kidney herbal formula at night to strengthen and cleanse the kidneys. I am seeing a lot of smaller parasites passing out via the urine. In the morning on an empty stomach I take an herbal dewormer (on the days I do not use ivermectin). I think the combination is helping to remove parasites. I also feel that over time the viral medication is helping to quell the viral reactivation and overall is making things less inviting to the parasites. Here is a brief article which discusses treating candida with TCM medicine: Candidiasis Treatment With Traditional Chinese Medicine Here is another article written by Bob Flaws, a well known American acupuncturist, this time just about Gu parasites and how this is treated in TCM: http://www.acuatlanta.net/gu-parasites-yin-fire-theory-a-94.html best, tcm xxx Last edited by tcmgpt13; March 27th, 2011 at 02:37 PM. | Hi there, Kritts - I thought to myself yesterday.. 'are the morgs from Robin's scalp drawn out by the composition of the paper, or the moisture?'. straight up. Hi...Robin - have you tried a synthetic cloth to see if the same happens? I think morgellons can seep inside any natural fibres. So loo paper would be cellulose and I wonder if that is food for the morgs. I dont think they do the same to say polyester (although would need to test some polyester fibres). If the same thing happened using a synthetic cloth, it might indicate that the moisture is the thing drawing them out. I think TC is right, in that parasites like moisture - to help them to move and disperse etc. Bicarb of soda dries things out, like salt does. I found that out my putting B of S in my shampoo a few weeks ago - hair was like straw. It also balances pH levels, so anything too acidic or highly alkaline becomes more neutral. Its clever stuff. I think the moisture issue is of high importance. Some morg elements seem to disperse very quickly in water, when I look under the scope. Cant wait til you get your super scope Kritts Jo xxx |

| Hey Joey! I'll get it in a few dayz. Can't wait! I'm also thinking that as the 'loo' paper ;-) soaks the obvious moisture from the scalp, it's bringing the critters with it. The moisture is IN the scalp and the paper is sucking it out. That's what I thought anyway. ;-) Hey, salty loo paper would probably even be better!!! (Not on yer bum though ;-) Amazing how we have similar thoughts simultaneously, huh? xoxo Kritts |

| TC.... you're an angel, ya know that? That first article was just what I needed to send to my 2 nurse practitioner friends who think Candida is only symbiotic. Thanks so much. I'm pretty sure I have Candidiasis and thought so since I first joined this forum. My stomach is bloated also and I just hate it. I think I'm going to make an appt. with the accupuncturist I told you about who also practices TCM. It'll cost a fortune, but I think I have to do it. I was just reading some more of my book "Parasite Rex" this rainy afternoon (more moisture LOL) and read another section describing how parasites are so good at controlling their host's environment by making them do things to create the environment they themselves need to survive. Retaining moisture definitely has to be one. They are amazing creatures. Wish I could control people as well as they can LOL! Anyway, thanks again! xoxo Kritts |

| I agree that moisture is a huge issue with the 'critter' movement. I have been playing with the drying and moistening of my lesions to draw out the stuff. I typically use vitamin e oil and leave on my sores for about half an hour then wash with hibiclens. The oil seems to bring them to the surface and appears to 'fatten them up' or make them swell. The cleanser strips the gunk from the sore and leaves the things exposed - ready for me to pluck them out. I recently saw a wound care specialist who said I have to leave my sore moist so it can heal, but I know if I did it would become overwhelming with critters. I keep a dry bandaid on all day, replacing it every couple of hours to keep it dry. Seems to help keep the stinging at bay so I can make it through my day. |
