I was wondering if anyone had lowerback pain? What has helped in order for you to get rid of this. I think I have had a clostridium dificile infection for the last two years. Or maybe it was just leaky gut caused by candidas Last edited by paddel; July 26th, 2008 at 03:32 PM.

Hey Paddle, "And the doctors haven't been able to help me out." SHOCKER!!! So, where did you come up with a clostridium dificile infection? That's a pretty major pinpoint, if you ask moi! :-) I only know that #1/ our infections from our particular kritters, whatever they are, are in our spinal columns. Base of the skull and bottom of the spine (anal area) for the Chlamydia pneumonia, Lymes, Herpes....(right Jo? correct me...I'm winging it right now) So, it can manifest itself anywhere, but PROBABLY is treated all the same, depending on which critter/critters it is. An infection anywhere in the body should be treated the same, IMO. Major vitamin C Multi vitamins Sun for an hour a day hydrogen peroxide dropperful in liter of water 3x/day My two cents.. The way I treat all infections.....esp. sinus. Good luck! Kritts

Genital Herpes: http://www.herpeshealth.com/about_Ge...Herpes_01.html The herpes virus enters your body through the thin skin of the genital area and travels along a nerve pathway to a bundle of nerves at the base of the spine called the dorsal root ganglion [?]. There it remains inactive, causing no harm and no symptoms, until something triggers it to “wake up” and become active. Sometimes, the triggers may be stress, lack of sleep, fever, sun exposure or menstruation. At other times, there may appear to be no reason at all for the virus to become active.1,4 Where herpes hide in neck and spine: HerpeSite - Transmission/Shedding Latency Once infected, the Herpes virus stays in the body. After outbreak, the virus goes into "latency." While latent, HSV lives in a kind of state of suspended animation, in the nerve centers in the spine: genital HSV in the sacral nerve roots (ganglia) at the base of the spine, and oral-facial HSV in the trigeminal nerve roots at the base of the neck. When reactivated, HSV begins to replicate, and travels the nerve pathways to the surface of the skin. This article may have already been posted on the forum but is an extensive article about herpes simplex 1 and 2: Herpes simplex - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Thanks for the followup, TC! Here are the threads I started regarding Herpes. I notice, Paddle, that you entered a "no" as did 3 other people on this forum. Since I posted that pole, I have learned that there are about 8 different types of herpes simplex, and some doctors aren't even familiar with that information, so it's highly doubtful that anyone would know for sure they don't have some type of herpes. I may alter this information on the pole when Franky revamps the poll section. Herpes Simplex Virus Chlamydia Pneumoniae & the Herpes Simplex Virus.....and more Kritts

Hi Paul, I know you're on the case with probiotics. Have you tried Saccharomyces boulardii? There's a few studies where it was effective for clostridium dificile: Suppression by Saccharomyces boulardii of toxigenic Clostridium difficile overgrowth after vancomycin treatment in hamsters. ....ok, I now realise that the above is about hamsters!! but there are others done on humans. Here's one supplier: Organic Pharmacy >> PRODUCTS I've tried it, as it was recommended for my nematode issue. I would recommend Opaline dry oxy capsules, if you're bowels are iffy. Mine have never been so good. Jo xxx Last edited by Jo; July 24th, 2008 at 06:23 PM. Reason: stupidity

Hey jo, Have you tried Saccharomyces boulardii? It some yeast that colonizes the digestive tract I believe. As for Herpes, I think we all have it. Its just that mine didn't come out positive. I herpes might be the reason why we cannot sleep at night since most viruses cause insomnia. Is there anyone that seems to be making an improvement. I am not sure whether or not i am improving or declining.

Hi Paul, which test for which herpes did you have done? did they test your blood? when I had my test it had to be done on a lesion, which is why I ask. I agree that most, if not all people have one form of herpes. I wonder if it's a one test fits all for all of them...(I doubt it) Kritts

Hi Paul, yes i have tried Saccharomyces boulardii - yes it is a yeast - bit similar to brewers yeast, but different. Maybe one to try. "S. boulardii has been shown to maintain and restore the natural flora in the large and small intestine; it is classified as a probiotic. It has shown to be effective against Acute Diarrhea, Recurrent Clostridium difficile Infection, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Travelers' Diarrhea and Antibiotic-Associated Diarrhea S. boulardii has been shown to be non-pathogenic, non-systemic (remains in the gastrointestinal tract), and grows at the unusually high temperature of 37°C. It induces the secretion of IgA provides protection against invading microbes in the gastrointestinal and respiratory tracts. Also has Anti-Inflammatory Effects, Antitoxin Effects, Antimicrobial Effects and Trophic Effects on Enterocytes" Saccharomyces boulardii - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jo xxx
